Andrew Heath is Vice President, Utility and Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) Intelligence at JD Power.

Dr. Heath has more than 30 years of experience working within the services and utility sectors in both the United States and the UK. He leads the JD Power Sustainability Leadership Program. Prior to joining JD Power in 2011, he was the director of customer satisfaction services at E Source. Prior to that, he was CIO at Powergen, now E.ON, where he developed the company’s UK e-business strategy.

Dr. Heath received a bachelor’s degree in management science from the University of Lancaster and a Ph.D. in management science from Imperial College, London.

Carl Lepper is the Senior Director of JD Power Utility & TMT Intelligence.

His responsibilities include managing and supporting clients through custom analysis, executive presentations, and consulting.

Mr. Lepper also provides oversight of national syndicated studies, including questionnaire design and development, fielding, data analysis, and delivery. In addition to providing support to managing directors, account executives, research operations, and project management with all aspects of each study.

Andrea Stokes joined JD Power as Practice Lead – Hospitality in September 2019.  She is responsible for ensuring JD Power brings relevant and high-quality intelligence to clients in the Lodging and Senior Living sectors.  She provides JD Power clients with hospitality industry expertise and thought leadership, as well as expertise in customer experience management.

Prior to JD Power, Andrea was with Marriott International’s CX and Innovation division where she oversaw brand health measurement programs, as well as Marriott’s customer insights platforms. Before joining Marriott, Andrea was Vice President - Travel and Hospitality at Ipsos, the well-known global research and polling firm. There she oversaw CX and marketing insights programs for clients in lodging, air transportation, cruise, and destination marketing.  Andrea is also the former Director of Research at the U.S. Travel Association.  

Andrea earned an M.B.A. at Georgetown University and a B.A. in Management at the College of St. Benedict.

Andrea has presented at many travel industry and other conferences.  She is also a Certified Hospitality Educator and Adjunct Lecturer in Hospitality Management. She resides in the Washington D.C. Metro Area. 

Jon Sundberg is a Director in JD Power’s Digital Solutions practice. Jon manages a portfolio of digital research studies across a variety of industries, including automotive, insurance, utility, and financial services. With nearly 10 years of digital research experience, Jon is passionate about good digital experiences and keeping up with current digital trends. He spends much of his time translating study results into actionable insights for clients.

Along with his role at JD Power, Jon also teaches at local universities.

Jon earned a Master of Business degree in management and organizational behavior from California Lutheran University and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University.

Michael Taylor is Senior Managing Director of Travel, Hospitality, Retail & Customer Service Advisory.

Mr. Taylor founded and led the Travel Practice at JD Power from 1998 to 2004, and rejoined JD Power in 2017. Previously he worked as a consultant to academic medical centers (M.D. Anderson and The Mayo Clinic) and oilfield service providers (Halliburton, Baker Hughes, and Schlumberger).

Prior to that, he worked in television advertising research, where he analyzed and consulted on major advertising efforts for companies such as SmithKline Beecham, S.C. Johnson, Frito Lay and General Motors, focusing on “persuasion shift” and market share. He began his career in the consumer packaged goods industry at companies such as Alberto-Culver, Ralston Purina, and Abbot Laboratories.

Mr. Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from Indiana University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.

Miles oversees the company’s consumer payments program, focusing on point-of-sale choice and non-credit card payment methods.

He has more than 20 years of experience in payments and mortgage lending, primarily with J.P. Morgan Chase and Mastercard.

Miles received a bachelor’s degree in business from Babson College and an MBA from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Michael Vermillion is Vice President and General Manager of Global Business Intelligence with oversight of the Insurance and Healthcare practices at JD Power.

He is responsible for the growth of the business by leading growth initiatives, key capability development and new market entry. Other areas of responsibilities include strategic planning, new product development, sales enablement and strategic partnerships.

Mr. Vermillion is the host of the JD Power Insurance Intelligence podcast and is a regular contributor to CX articles, webinars and white papers.

Mr. Vermillion brings to JD Power 25 years of experience in the strategy, corporate development and product management fields. Prior to joining the company in 2015, he held executive roles in product, strategy, business development and consulting with Market Risk Partners, NAVEX Global, Dun & Bradstreet, Autobex, Salient3 Communications, Stern Stewart & Company and Procter & Gamble.

Mr. Vermillion is President of Chicago Booth Alumni of Los Angeles, the former chair of P&G Alumni of New York City and is a member of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, CFA Institute, the New York Society of Security Analysts, the Product Development and Management Association and the American Marketing Association.

Mr. Vermillion received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA in corporate finance from the University of Chicago.
