The long-awaited debut of the 1,000-plus-horsepower Corvette ZR1, an all-new Equinox compact crossover SUV, and refreshed Suburban and Tahoe full-size SUVs headline the 2025 Chevrolet lineup.
In other news, Chevy bids farewell to two of its remaining three passenger-car models—the Malibu sedan and the iconic Chevrolet Camaro—leaving the Corvette as the last Chevy car model standing.
Changes to the individual 2025 Chevrolet model lines are listed below alphabetically.
Chevy’s sporty two-row midsize crossover SUV, the Blazer, soldiers into 2025 with no significant changes. Redline Edition buyers can now get their Blazer in Iridescent Pearl Tricoat paint, and Habanero Orange is a new color across the model line. The 2025 Blazer is available in four trim levels—2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier—with a turbocharged four-cylinder or a V6 engine. It’s available with front-wheel (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD).
Chevy introduced the all-electric Blazer EV for the 2024 model year, so the updates for 2025 are limited. Joining the lineup is a new, more affordable LT FWD trim. It includes new roof colors, a new wheel design, power mirrors, and several new advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) previously only available in an optional equipment package. There’s also a new Midnight/Sport edition appearance package.
A black roof is also available on the Blazer EV RS. If you equip your new electric SUV with GM’s Super Cruise hands-free highway driving-assistance technology, you can also opt for active parking assistance. Finally, rumor has it a new performance-oriented Blazer EV SS is on the way, promising more than 550 hp.
As of this writing, Chevrolet has yet to release official information for the 2025 Colorado.
Chevrolet keeps upping the performance ante on its iconic Corvette sports car as the new “King of the Hill” ZR1 joins the lineup in 2025. Cranking out 1,064 hp and 828 pound-feet of torque from its hand-built, twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 engine, the new ZR1 is the fastest, most powerful Corvette ever produced. Chevrolet claims a top speed of 233 mph and a quarter-mile acceleration time of less than 10 seconds. The new ZR1 is available in coupe and convertible body styles.
Changes to the rest of the 2025 Corvette lineup, including the Stingray, Z06, and hybrid-powered E-Ray, are more mundane, mostly related to exterior and interior colors. The Stingray sees the return of Sebring Orange Tintcoat Metallic paint, and Competition Yellow Tintcoat Metallic and Hysteria Purple Metallic are new hues. Inside, a new Habanero interior color and blue stitching are available on the black interior. Brake calipers come in Velocity Yellow, and the Z51 Performance package gets a new rear spoiler.
Changes to the Z06 and new-for-2024 E-Ray mirror those made to the Stingray; the Z06 also offers four new 10-spoke wheel finishes.
Chevy’s popular Equinox compact crossover SUV gets a redesign for the 2025 model year, bringing fresh styling, upgraded interior materials, updated infotainment and convenience technologies, and additional safety features.
In addition to LT and RS trims, a new Activ version debuts, catering to outdoor enthusiasts. While the engine—a 175-hp, turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder—carries over, two new transmissions send power to the front or all four wheels. Front-wheel-drive versions work with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT), while AWD versions employ a conventional eight-speed automatic. The Equinox also gets selectable drive modes for the first time.
In addition to the standard ADAS package, buyers can opt for a surround-view camera and a rearview camera mirror. Chevrolet’s Teen Driver technology is also standard. Drivers face a new 11-inch digital gauge display, and an 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen sits atop the dashboard. Google Built-in and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are on board, as are OnStar connected services and a 5G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
Besides the name and the fact that they’re both two-row crossover SUVs, the conventionally powered Equinox and the all-electric Equinox EV, introduced for the 2024 model year, have nothing in common. Unsurprisingly, the electric Equinox is a carryover model for 2025, with the new Habanero Orange exterior paint being the only change.
The large pickup segment is so competitive that it’s rare for a truck to carry over essentially unchanged from one model year to the next. Nevertheless, that’s the case in 2025 for the light-duty Chevy Silverado 1500.
For 2025, the Work Truck gets standard cruise control, the LT gets a trailer brake controller, and the off-road-oriented ZR2 gets a premium audio system and front and rear parking assistance. Additionally, all 2025 Silverado 1500 buyers can select 20-inch high-gloss black wheels, and there are two new paint colors: Cypress Gray and Riptide Blue.
As of this writing, Chevrolet has yet to release official information for the 2025 Blazer EV.
Like its light-duty counterpart, the 2025 Silverado HD also has a short list of changes one year after a 2024 refresh. The most notable among them is the availability of the Trail Boss package for LT and LTZ trims. It adds unique 20-inch black wheels, the Z71 off-road suspension, and blacked-out bumpers and exterior trim. Additionally, the Midnight Edition gets new 20-inch wheels. Other changes relate to standard and available technology features for the various trim levels.
The full-size Suburban SUV gets a redo for the 2025 model year with fresh styling, a revised diesel engine, and safety and technology enhancements. Available in six trims—LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country—the refreshed 2025 Suburban offers three engine choices, including two gas V8s and an enhanced turbodiesel offering more power and torque than before. All engines pair with a 10-speed Allison automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive or 4WD is available.
An updated front fascia, a new front lighting system, and new wheel choices highlight the 2025 Suburban’s exterior changes, while the interior gets a new center console design and a new steering wheel. Chevy also upgraded the Suburban’s trim materials. Drivers face an 11-inch digital gauge display and a prominent 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen debuts.
Chevy upgraded the Suburban’s standard suspension to improve ride and handling, moving to a new multi-link design. Adaptive air suspension and Magnetic Ride Control are also more widely available.
New technology includes an interior motion-detection system and a connected camera system. Chevy Safety Assist, the automaker’s ADAS suite, is standard, and buyers can opt for Super Cruise.
Essentially a shorter version of the Suburban with less cargo space but $3,000 cheaper, the Tahoe gets the same updates for 2025 as its big brother.
The larger of Chevy’s two small crossover SUVs, the Trailblazer carries over unchanged for 2025 following a handful of updates for 2024. Marina Blue Metallic exterior paint is the only new item for 2025. The Trailblazer is available in LS, LT, Activ, and RS trims and comes with a 1.2- or 1.3-liter three-cylinder engine.
Following a 2024 redesign, the Traverse sees only a handful of updates for 2025, the most notable of which is the new High Country trim. It comes with a long list of features, highlighted by 22-inch high-gloss black wheels, upgraded suspension, leather seats, a 10-speaker Bose premium audio system, a power-folding third-row seat, and several equipment packages containing a variety of comfort, convenience, and driver-assistance features.
Other new items for 2025 include the optional Sun and Wheel package and a standard trailering package on the LT trim.
Two new exterior paint colors—Cypress Gray and Marina Blue Metallic—represent the extent of the changes to Chevy’s entry-level Trax small crossover SUV for the 2025 model year. That is not surprising, considering Chevy redesigned the Trax for 2024.
The 2025 Trax is available in LS, 1RS, LT, 2RS, and Activ trims with a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine producing 137 hp. Off-roaders note: AWD is not available.
