2025 BMW 330i M Sport
The 2025 BMW 3 Series sedan is available in two "mainstream" versions: the 330i and M340i. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) comes standard, with all-wheel drive (AWD) optional. The least expensive model in the lineup is the 330i at a base price of $45,950. The M340i—a stepping stone to the high-performance M models—begins at $60,200. In all-wheel-drive M340i xDrive form, the car lists at $62,200.

The M3 is the highest-performance version of the BMW 3 Series sedan lineup. BMW offers it in three trim levels: M3, M3 Competition, and M3 Competition xDrive. The base (but indeed not basic) M3 starts at $76,700. The range-topping M3 Competition xDrive, featuring a 523-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter engine and AWD, begins at $86,000.
As with the more prosaic 3 Series models, BMW offers M3 buyers four years of complimentary roadside assistance and a free scheduled maintenance plan covering three years or 36,000 miles. Like the 3 Series, the M3’s standard BMW Connected Package Professional entails real-time traffic and parking information, navigation, and voice-command capabilities. The brand offers a list of connected services that are among the most detailed and comprehensive in the industry.

2025 BMW M3
The BMW 3 Series (including the M3) ranks third in the Compact Premium Car segment in the JD Power 2024 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS), which assesses owner-reported problems during the third year of ownership.
The 3 Series also ranks third in its segment in the JD Power 2024 U.S. Initial Quality Study (IQS), which tracks problems experienced by owners during the first 90 days.
The 2025 BMW 3 Series and M3 offer a standard warranty of four years or 50,000 miles and a powertrain warranty of four years or 50,000 miles.

Why? In these areas, the BMW 3 Series and BMW M3 are indistinguishable, sharing initial quality and long-term vehicle dependability accolades.
2025 BMW 330i M Sport
The 2025 BMW 3 Series gives shoppers the choice of several powertrain configurations. The entry-level 330i and 330i xDrive feature a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 255 hp and 295 pound-feet of torque. The higher-performance M340i features a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine that delivers 386 hp and 398 pound-feet of torque. Both powertrains feature mild-hybrid technology and use eight-speed automatic transmissions.
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates the 2025 330i sedan will deliver 31 mpg combined. Choosing the AWD version reduces this figure slightly to 29 mpg, which is also the estimated fuel economy for the M340i sedan, regardless of whether it has RWD or AWD.
The 2025 BMW M3 offers buyers three tiers of power. BMW has placed a 473-hp version of its twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine under the M3's hood. Offering 406 pound-feet of torque, it drives the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. The M3 Competition boosts (quite literally) the 3.0-liter six-cylinder to 503 hp and 479 pound-feet. It is also RWD and switches from a manual to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The high-performance M3 Competition xDrive delivers an impressive 523 hp and 479 pound-feet of torque through its AWD system.
According to the EPA, the 2025 M3 and M3 Competition sedans achieve a fuel-economy rating of 19 mpg combined, while the AWD Competition xDrive gets an 18-mpg rating.

At the same time, the optional Active Driving Assistant Professional package enhances safety with features like traffic-jam assist, automatic emergency steering, lane-centering assistance, lane-changing assistance, and automatic emergency stop assistance. A wide-angle parking camera, a surround-view camera, and a head-up display are additional options.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the 2025 BMW 3 Series the highest-possible five-star overall safety rating, and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) named it a Top Safety Pick for the 2024 calendar year.
The high-performance 2025 BMW M3 gets ADAS that are optional on the mainstream 3 Series trims. BMW's Active Driving Assistant, which includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, active blind-spot warning, lane-keeping assistance, and rear cross-traffic warning, is standard. Standard amenities in the 2025 3 Series include a glass moonroof, heated and power-adjustable front sport seats with four-way lumbar support, and practical features such as an electric trunk release, a locking glove box, and various storage compartments throughout the cabin.
The 3 Series offers 40/20/40 split-folding rear seats with a convenient "through-load" function. It excels in cargo space, offering nearly 17 cubic feet of luggage capacity in its conventional trunk.
The 2025 BMW M3 takes the refined interior of the mainstream 3 Series and kicks it up several notches in luxury and sportiness. It employs the 3 Series’ BMW Curved Display and provides the same roomy cabin, but its base equipment includes Merino leather seats, an anthracite headliner, and M-specific trim. From there, the sky is the limit with options like the $14,300 (not a typo) Carbon package that includes carbon fiber interior trim, an M Alcantara steering wheel, M carbon ceramic brakes, and front M Carbon bucket seats with integrated M3 logo in the headrest, M dual-spoke wheels, plus M Drive Professional and M-specific head-up display.
