Nissan significantly changes several of its SUV models—the Armada, Kicks, and Murano—for the 2025 model year. One other Nissan model—the Frontier pickup—gets significant revisions without a complete makeover. Most other 2025 Nissan models receive minor alterations for the 2025 model year. One model that isn’t returning: the Nissan GT-R sports car.
Changes to the individual 2025 Nissan model lines are listed below alphabetically.
For 2025, Nissan concocts an SV Special Edition package for the Altima midsize sedan with exterior upgrades, a 12.3-inch HD color digital display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless device charging pad.
Nissan thoroughly revises the Armada for 2025, giving the full-size SUV innovative tech, additional all-terrain capability, and premium interior features. The SUV's power comes from a twin-turbocharged V6 engine delivering 425 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. The 2025 Armada offers a strong visual presence, higher ground clearance, and an abundance of tech.
Among its advanced features are ProPilot Assist 2.1 for hands-free highway driving and the Nissan Safety Shield 360 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) array. The SUV also offers innovative camera technologies, including the available "Invisible Hood" and "Front Wide" camera views, which ease off-roading and commuting.
Nissan enhances the Armada's connectivity with its dual 14.3-inch digital displays with Google Built-in technology. Nissan also introduces the first-ever Pro-4X trim level with all-terrain tires, an increased approach angle, underbody skid plates, electronic-locking differential, and adaptive electronic air suspension.
Nissan enhances the Frontier midsize pickup for 2025, increasing its maximum towing capacity to 7,150 pounds. The truck now has greater crew cab/long box configuration availability and a new standard tilt/telescopic steering wheel.
The surround-view camera with an enhanced off-road view works at higher speeds for more confident off-roading. The truck also features a revised front fascia, grille, and bumper design, a new 17-inch alloy wheel design, a new tailgate finisher on off-road trims, updated dashboard trim, and a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system on higher trims.
The new-generation 2025 Kicks small crossover offers a fresh design and enhanced capabilities, including its first-ever all-wheel-drive (AWD) system with a Snow drive mode. Designed to cater to young buyers, the Kicks' striking design draws inspiration from sneaker culture and football players' helmets.
It offers a 12.3-inch infotainment display (a 7-inch display is standard), plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and wireless phone charging. The crossover also features Safety Shield 360 ADAS and a surround-view camera. The 2025 Kicks also gets its first application of Nissan's ProPilot Assist, which provides steering assistance to keep the SUV centered in its lane on highway drives.
The Kicks offers a generous 8.4 inches of ground clearance and flexible storage, with a total cargo capacity of up to 30 cubic feet with the seats raised or 60 cubic feet with them lowered.
The all-electric Leaf is unchanged for 2025.
Nissan introduces the next-generation Murano crossover SUV for 2025. It features all-new styling inside and out, advanced tech, and additional safety features. The striking exterior design features 21-inch wheels, LED headlights, and full-width LED taillights that give the vehicle a distinctive look. The interior offers luxury-vehicle comfort with massaging front seats, 64-color ambient lighting, dual 12.3-inch digital displays, and semi-aniline leather upholstery.
New technology includes an available Google Built-in infotainment system, ProPilot Assist 1.1, Invisible Hood view, and a surround-view camera. Under the hood, the latest Murano features a 2.0-liter variable-compression-ratio turbocharged (VC-Turbo) four-cylinder engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Buyers of the 2025 Pathfinder midsize SUV will benefit from a power liftgate that is newly standard on SV and Rock Creek trims.
The 2025 Nissan Rogue is now available in a Rock Creek Edition, featuring all-terrain tires, hill-descent control, and a more rugged appearance than other trims. All Rogues offer Nissan ProPilot Assist 2.1, enabling hands-off single-lane freeway driving, and a surround-view camera that includes Invisible Hood and Front Wide views.
A NissanConnect connected services package is now available on the Sentra SV trim. It includes access to NissanConnect Services features, MyNissan app control, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
For 2025, the Versa S and SV trims add standard LED headlights.
