Following a relatively active 2024 campaign, the 2025 model year is quiet for Jeep, as none of the iconic brand’s SUVs see any significant changes. Still, there are some notable updates as Jeep continues its march toward electrification.
Changes to the individual 2025 Jeep model lines are listed below alphabetically.
Jeep’s small SUV, the Compass, carries over almost entirely unchanged for the 2025 model year, again available in Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk trim levels with standard 4-wheel drive (4WD). There’s a new, limited-edition paint color—Joose—and the Latitude gets standard remote engine start, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.

Following a refresh for the 2024 model year, the 2025 Jeep Gladiator is mostly unchanged. Perhaps the biggest news is the discontinuation of the manual transmission option; an eight-speed automatic is now the exclusive way to change gears in the Gladiator. Elsewhere, power windows and locks are now standard, there’s an optional new remote cabin temperature conditioning feature, and two new colors join the paint palette: Fathom Blue and ’41, the latter a nod to Jeep’s military heritage.
Jeep’s popular midsize SUV—available in five-passenger Grand Cherokee, seven-passenger Grand Cherokee L, and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) Grand Cherokee 4xe varieties—carries over unchanged for the 2025 model year. Last redesigned for the 2022 model year, the 2025 Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L are available in Laredo, Limited, Overland, and Summit trims, while the 4xe PHEV comes in base, Trailhawk, Overland, and Summit versions.
Essentially a premium version of the similarly sized Wagoneer, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer (and extended-length Grand Wagoneer L) gets a small handful of meaningful changes for 2025. First and foremost, the high-output version of the twin-turbocharged “Hurricane” inline six-cylinder engine gets a power bump to 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, 22-inch aluminum wheels are now standard.
On the tech front, new standard features include a driver monitoring system, traffic-sign recognition, and intersection turn assistance. Also, the top two Grand Wagoneer trims are now available with Active Driving Assist—a Level 2+ hands-free driving-assistance system (standard on all Grand Wagoneer L versions). Elsewhere, front passengers on all trims get their own screen and seat memory controls.
Jeep’s mainstream full-size SUV, the Wagoneer, sees only a few minor changes for 2025. New standard equipment includes 20-inch aluminum wheels, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control. Additionally, power-folding mirrors are now available. Changes to the extended-length Wagoneer L mimic those of the Wagoneer.
The all-new, all-electric Jeep Wagoneer S compact SUV was a late entry for the 2024 model year. Nevertheless, it’s significant because it represents Jeep’s first global battery-electric vehicle (BEV) entry. The five-passenger midsize SUV, available exclusively in Launch Edition trim in 2024, features dual electric motors, giving the new Jeep all-wheel-drive capability. The new Wagoneer S powertrain is robust; horsepower measures 600, while torque output is 617 pound-feet. Jeep says the Wagoneer S can hit 60 mph in 3.4 seconds.
Considering the Wagoneer S arrived so late in 2024, Jeep will likely not release details for the 2025 Wagoneer S until the calendar flips to the new year.
Following a much-needed mid-cycle refresh for the 2024 model year, Jeep’s iconic Wrangler rolls into 2025 with only minor updates. Outside, a new military olive drab-inspired paint color, simply dubbed ’41, joins the palette. Owners can now pre-condition the cabin temperature remotely using an app, and power windows and locks are now standard across the board. Lastly, Jeep has opted to extend the availability of the Wrangler 392 Final Edition for another year.
