Jeep's 2024 model year isn't particularly dynamic, as most of its models carry over from 2023 with few changes. The two exceptions are the Gladiator and Wrangler, which benefit from visual and technological freshening. Jeep says that all its models will have some electrified powertrain by 2025 and that 50 percent of Jeep sales will be fully electric by 2030. Lastly, Jeep discontinues the Renegade subcompact crossover SUV for the 2024 model year.

The 2024 model year offers only minor changes for Jeep's compact Compass SUV. You might miss the new front grille insert and some new wheel designs if you weren't looking closely. The Compass Trailhawk also gets new all-terrain tires. Otherwise, the Compass remains similar to the 2023 version, motivated by a 200-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and standard all-wheel drive. Its five trim levels include the Sport, Latitude, Latitude Lux, Limited, and Trailhawk.
Jeep's Wrangler-based midsize pickup truck gets a refresh for 2024 with a new front fascia and seven new wheel choices. You'll note changes inside, too, with more soft-touch materials around the cabin and a better driving position thanks to the available power front seats. An upgraded infotainment system featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen also debuts for 2024, and boulder-bashers will take note of the new helpful feature that integrates information from the Adventure Guide software for off-road adventures on designated trails. Jeep also upgrades the Gladiator's safety with side-curtain airbags for the front and rear, standard forward-collision warning, and adaptive cruise control.
Elsewhere, two new trims debut: the Mojave X and Rubicon X, each increasing the feature content with steel bumpers, an integrated off-road camera, and power-adjustable front seats swathed in Nappa leather.
The only change for the 2024 model year for the Grand Cherokee is standard 18-inch polished or painted aluminum wheels for the Limited and extended-length L Limited trim levels. Otherwise, the midsize SUV is a carryover from 2023, offering your choice of three engines: a 293-hp 3.6-liter V6, a 357-hp 5.7-liter V8, and a 375-hp plug-in hybrid (PHEV) with 25 miles of electric range. You can also choose between the 5-passenger, 2-row version or the 3-row, 7-passenger, 12-inch-longer configuration of the Grand Cherokee L.
The luxury version of the Wagoneer now comes with a high-output version of its standard twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter "Hurricane" inline 6-cylinder engine. It supplies 510 hp and 500 pound-feet of torque—enough to accelerate the full-size SUV to 60 mph in a claimed 5.9 seconds.
Jeep also drops the Series II trim designation in favor of Obsidian. Predictably, the Grand Wagoneer Obsidian has a blacked-out exterior treatment. The extended-length Grand Wagoneer L is unchanged from 2023.
For 2024, Jeep drops the Wagoneer's base 5.7-liter "Hemi" V8 engine, replacing it with the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter "Hurricane" inline 6-cylinder engine. It makes 420 hp and 468 pound-feet of torque—28 more horses and 64 added pound-feet of torque compared to the outgoing V8.
The extended-length Wagoneer L, which debuted in 2023 with the Hurricane inline-6 as standard equipment, is unchanged in 2024.
Jeep gives its iconic Wrangler a glow-up with a new grille incorporating its familiar 7-slot face with a refreshed look and 10 new wheel designs. Inside, you'll find the latest infotainment technology controlled by a 12.3-inch touchscreen that gives you access to Trails Offroad software with information and guides to various trails.
Jeep improves the 2024 Wrangler's safety with side-curtain airbags for the front and rear, and for all versions except the base Sport, features like forward-collision warning and advanced cruise control with full-stop capability are newly standard.
The rough-and-tumble Willys trim level has even better off-road chops with more ground clearance, bigger tires, superior traction, and elevated fender flares. Another new trim level is the Rubicon X, which boasts standard 35-inch tires, steel bumpers, and an off-road camera. The regular Rubicon trim level offers an available Warn winch with an 8,000-pound capacity and a solid rear axle.
The Jeep Wrangler 4xe PHEV debuts a new entry-level Sport S trim and delivers four 120-volt power outlets.
