It’s a relatively quiet year for Honda in 2025 as the Japanese automaker rolls out refreshed versions of its Civic compact car and Odyssey minivan. There’s also a new fuel-cell-powered variant of the popular CR-V compact SUV. The rest of the 2025 Honda lineup sees only minor or no changes.
Changes to the individual 2025 Honda model lines are listed below alphabetically.
Two years after a redesign for the 2023 model year, the popular Honda Accord midsize sedan sees minor updates for 2025. While the LE, Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring trims are mostly unchanged, a sporty new SE trim level slots in directly above the entry-level LX. It features black exterior accents and trim along with black 17-inch alloy wheels. A moonroof, heated front seats, a 10-way power driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, and eight-speaker audio are highlights.
All 2025 Accords inherit rear air vents and two rear USB-C ports, while Sport and higher trims gain standard heated front seats and a wireless device charger. The top Touring trim, meanwhile, gains a standard heated steering wheel.
As in years past, a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) powers the LX and SE, while the remainder of the lineup employs a hybrid powertrain.
Another long-running, popular Honda model, the Civic gets a mid-cycle refresh for 2025, bringing exterior styling tweaks, new tech, new paint colors, and, most notably, a powerful new hybrid powertrain.
The new Civic Hybrid introduces hybrid power to the Civic lineup, available in sedan or hatchback body styles and in Sport or Sport Touring trims. It employs Honda’s two-motor hybrid system, generating 200 horsepower and 232 pound-feet of torque sent to the front wheels via a CVT. The transmission features Linear Shift Control, which mimics the shift points of a conventional automatic transmission. Honda says that, excluding the Type R, the hybrid is the most powerful Civic ever.
Drivers can select from among four levels of regenerative braking via steering wheel paddles. Civic Hybrids also benefit from suspension tuning enhancements, special tires, and active noise-cancellation technology.
All 2025 Civics inherit a new front fascia and grille, while sedans get darker taillights. The new Civic Hybrid also features body-colored headlight garnish and front lower spoiler. Additionally, the new Sport Touring Hybrid has an exclusive alloy wheel design. Four new colors—Solar Silver Metallic, Urban Gray Pearl, Blue Lagoon Pearl (Civic sedan), and Sand Dune Pearl (Civic hatchback)—join the exterior paint palette.
Inside, all 2025 Civics get front USB-C ports, while the Civic Hybrid includes a new gray interior color choice, a standard moonroof, heated front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate controls.
The range-topping Sport Touring Hybrid has leather seats and enhanced infotainment featuring Google Built-in technology, which brings Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Play, and more. It comes with three years of unlimited data. The improved infotainment setup includes a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
Another of Honda’s popular models welcomes a new powertrain. Namely, the 2025 CR-V e:FCEV, powered by hydrogen fuel cells. Honda says it’s the first to produce a plug-in hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle (EV) in America. Delivering 270 miles of estimated range, the CR-V e:FCEV can travel 29 miles on electricity alone. Power output measures 174 hp and 229 pound-feet of torque. Initially, Honda is limiting availability to lease customers in California. It comes in a single Touring trim.
The new e:FCEV shares much of its styling and content with the gasoline- and hybrid-powered CR-V, but some distinctions exist. The e:FCEV has unique styling from the windshield forward, a distinctive power liftgate, and a different rear fascia. It also has an underbody shield to aid aerodynamics. The fuel-cell SUV rides on 18-inch, 10-spoke black alloy wheels.
The new CR-V e:FCEV has bio-based leather seats, power-adjustable heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 10.2-inch digital gauge display, and a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, as is a wireless device charger and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
The remaining Honda CR-V and CR-V Hybrid lineup remains unchanged for 2025.
Redesigned for the 2023 model year, Honda’s small SUV, the HR-V, carries over unchanged into 2025, still available in LX, Sport, and EX-L trims and with front-wheel or all-wheel drive (AWD).
After receiving no changes for the 2024 model year, Honda’s Odyssey minivan gets a mild refresh for 2025, bringing an updated grille and reshaped front and rear fascias, new technology, and a revamped rear-seat entertainment system. The entry-level EX trim disappears, but all other trims receive standard equipment upgrades. All 2025 Odysseys get a new wheel design, and two new exterior paint colors debut: Solar Silver Metallic and Smoke Blue Pearl.
Inside the updated Odyssey, drivers face a new 7-inch digital instrument display, and a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen replaces the previous year’s 8-inch unit. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are now standard across the board, and Honda adds more USB-C ports. Additionally, the rear entertainment system now boasts a 12.8-inch screen.
An all-new 2026 Honda Passport is coming, promising a more rugged design and improved off-road ability. Understandably, the 2025 model stands pat with no changes, still available in EX-L, TrailSport, and Black Edition trim levels.
Honda’s midsize three-row crossover SUV, the Pilot, rolls into 2025 with minor changes. The entry-level LX trim disappears, but a new Black Edition debuts, keeping the trim count at an even half dozen.
Perched atop the lineup, the new Black Edition brings unique styling elements inside and out, along with standard AWD. Among the exterior highlights are gloss black 20-inch alloy wheels and gloss black accents at the front, sides, and rear. Black Edition grille and tailgate badges complete the look. The Black Edition has perforated leather seats with red accents, red contrast stitching for the steering wheel, seats, and door panels, and red accent lighting. Black Edition logos appear on the front seats and floor mats.
As of this writing, Honda has yet to release official information for the 2025 Prologue—the automaker’s two-row EV that debuted for the 2024 model year.
After minor tweaks for 2024, the Ridgeline pickup carries over for 2025 with no significant changes.
