Every 2026 Terrain SUV is equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 175 horsepower. With standard front-wheel drive (FWD), the powertrain generates 183 pound-feet of torque. Terrains equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD) deliver a little more, with 203 pound-feet of torque. All FWD Terrains have a continuously variable automatic transmission, while AWD versions have a conventional eight-speed automatic transmission.
GMC equips the 2026 Terrain with an impressive array of driver assistance features that help protect you on the road.
