Audi has completely redesigned its compact luxury Q3 SUV for 2026, from the bodywork to the wheels. Inside, the all-new Q3 features the latest infotainment and driver assistance technology. Agile yet comfortable driving dynamics were a goal as well. The all-new Q3 will go on sale in the first quarter of 2026 with a starting price of $44,995, including the destination charge.

With a single four-door body style, the new 2026 Audi Q3 resembles other recent Audi SUVs in the German automaker's lineup, featuring reconfigured side glass as well as front and rear bodywork that echo the larger Q5 and Q7. Audi will not offer optional trim levels at the time of launch, and the only available powertrain is a 255-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine. As with all Audi SUVs, Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD) is standard.

The 2026 Audi Q3 features notable exterior updates, including a more muscular design, standard full LED headlights with customizable daytime running lights, and dynamic LED taillights with animated turn signals. You can select three different digital lighting signatures from the infotainment touchscreen for the "welcome" startup and "goodbye" shutdown sequences.
All 2026 Q3 SUVs in the U.S. market will come standard with the S line exterior trim, featuring a Phantom Black front grille, front air intakes and underbody protection in Selenite Silver, along with a matte black rear diffuser. Nine exterior colors include both carryover shades and a new Sage Green metallic, offering many options.
The new 2026 Q3 models with the optional Technology package feature OLED taillights with a continuous light strip. A total of 36 segments are divided into six digital OLED panels, allowing three digital taillight signatures to be paired with the front LED light signatures.
The new Q3 also features illuminated Audi rings as standard, which activate along with the low beam headlights.

Inside, the new Q3 features Audi's Digital Stage layout, centered around two digital screens. An 11.9-inch instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen use a new user interface and map integration. A head-up display is also available as an option. Every Q3 includes sound absorbing dual-pane front door glass with a specialized film sandwiched between the two panes.
Audi relocates the transmission's gear selector to the steering column, freeing up space in the center console. Toward the rear of the cabin, the second row seat reclines, slides, and folds down to provide 50 cubic feet of cargo space. With the rear seats upright and pushed all the way forward, 29 cubic feet of space remain behind the seatbacks.
Audi offers a Sonos premium audio system with 12 speakers, several of which are mounted in the upper doors. The total system power peaks at 420 watts. The preset signal processing options include Neutral, Concert, Lounge, and Podcast.
Next to the cooled, 15-watt wireless smartphone charging pad are two USB-C ports. The charging station features a lid that can be closed. The two USB-C ports enable device charging for rear passengers.

Audi's overall Q3 redesign features increased power, refined suspension tuning for better ride comfort and agility, and enhanced steering feedback.
The all-new 2026 Q3 launches with an upgraded turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 255 hp and 273 pound-feet of torque, an increase of 27 hp and 22 pound-feet from the previous Q3's 2.0-liter engine. The turbo engine is paired with a new seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard Quattro AWD. Audi claims the new Q3 will be the quickest compact SUV among its direct premium rivals, reaching 60 mph in 5.5 seconds.
Three new wheel sets, ranging from 18 to 20 inches in diameter, will all feature all-season tires. The base 18-inch multi-spoke wheels will be equipped with 235/55R18 tires. Larger 19-inch, 10-spoke wheels will come with 245/45R19 tires, while 20-inch, five-spoke wheels will wear 255/40R20 tires. Both the 19- and 20-inch wheel and tire sets will be standalone options above the standard 18-inch wheel. A space saving spare tire will be standard on all 2026 Q3s.

Driver-assistance systems receive a significant upgrade in the new 2026 Q3, with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with emergency assist, traffic sign recognition, a driver monitoring system, and a suite of front and side collision mitigation systems all standard. A surround view camera, Adaptive Cruise Assist, Park Assist, and a heated steering wheel are included with the optional Driver Assistance package.
The new 2026 Q3 also features Audi's latest infotainment system, including an Android Automotive operating system. Owners can access third-party apps via the Audi Application Store. An AI-enhanced Audi assistant also appears as an on-screen avatar.
The all-new 2026 Q3 will face tough competition in the subcompact luxury SUV segment, including the Acura ADX, BMW X2, Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Mercedes-Benz GLA and GLB, and Volvo XC40. With increased power, an enhanced standard equipment list, and a refreshed design, the new Q3 aims to maintain strong interest and sales in the competitive luxury subcompact SUV market.
