With a spacious cabin, three rows of seats, and a powerful engine, Audi's largest SUV, the 2025 Q7, offers luxury and a sporty ride with room for up to seven passengers.
The 2025 Audi Q7 has four trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus, Prestige, and the ultra-sporty SQ7. Three different powertrain options include a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, a 3.0-liter turbo V6, and a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD) system comes standard.
The refreshed 2025 Audi Q7 receives subtle exterior styling updates, like the updated grille, which now features a teardrop shape on the Q7 and an L-shape on the SQ7. Audi also reshaped the front spoiler and rear diffuser. High-definition (HD) matrix headlights now come standard on all trim levels, and Audi added new exhaust tips to the Q7.
The sporty SQ7 receives similar updates but with a more aggressive rear diffuser and digitalized organic light-emitting diode (OLED) rear taillights with four digital light signatures. Audi pairs its new exhaust tips with an exhaust system to emphasize the twin-turbo V8 engine's roar.
The 2025 Audi Q7 has three large digital displays, one directly in front of the driver and two to the right, framed by the air vents and center console.
The 12.3-inch driver display houses the digital instrument cluster, entertainment information, and Audi's Traffic Light Information, complimentary for three years. The other two displays house the multimedia interface and climate controls.
Premium leather covers the seats, dashboard, and side door panels. To add to the SQ7's sportiness, Audi installs a new carbon twill matte decorative inlay.
The new Executive package includes dual-pane acoustic glass, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, rear sunshades, four-zone automatic climate control, and traffic-light recognition.
Power-folding third-row seats come with the seven-passenger seating configuration for easy access.
Audi equips all 2025 Audi Q7s with standard Quattro AWD and offers three different powertrain series: the Q7 45, Q7 55, and the SQ7. The least powerful is the Q7 45, which produces 261 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque from its turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Audi says it can go from zero-to-60 mph in 6.7 seconds. The Q7 55's 3.0-liter V6 engine produces 335 hp and 369 pound-feet of torque and will take the Q7 from zero-to-60 mph in 5.5 seconds.
The fastest and most potent iteration is the SQ7, which boasts a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 500 hp and 568 pound-feet of torque. This engine propels the SUV from zero-to-60 mph in a claimed 4 seconds. This powertrain also has cylinder-deactivation technology, improving efficiency.
Both the Q7 55 and SQ7 have a towing capacity of up to 7,700 pounds.
The new Q7 offers a wide range of safety features that you would expect in a luxury SUV, such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, automatic emergency braking, rear automatic braking, and active parking assistance.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard in the 2025 Audi Q7. Music plays through 17 Bang & Olufsen premium speakers. If you opt for the SQ7, you get 23 premium speakers. The Q7 also offers a Wi-Fi hotspot and provides full-speed internet coverage.
The luxury SUV market is ultra competitive, with highly sought-after models like the BMW X5, Genesis GV80, Range Rover Velar, Porsche Cayenne, and Volvo XC90. That said, the 2025 Audi Q7 is a well-designed luxury SUV with an array of powertrains that appeal to a wide variety of buyers.
