The G70 compact luxury sedan is basically unchanged for the 2025 model year, though Genesis adds a new color—Matte Blue—to the car’s exterior paint palette.
Genesis redesigns its G80 sedan for 2025. Available in four trim levels, it offers standard all-wheel drive (AWD) and two engine choices: a turbocharged 2.5-liter and a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6. Upgrades include microlens array (MLA) technology headlights, new front and rear fascias, new wheel designs, and standard four-piston fixed monobloc front brake calipers.
Interior changes include an updated dashboard, a new three-spoke steering wheel, and a revised center stack and console design. The sedan now offers four interior color schemes and 10 exterior colors. So far, there is no official word on an electrified 2025 G80 model.
The brand’s largest sedan, the G90, undergoes a few minor alterations for 2025. All versions now feature automatic closing doors with a logic enhancement, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and Genesis Connected Services. For 2025, Genesis drops two exterior colors: Makalu Gray Matte and Hallasan Green.
The GV60 battery-electric small crossover lineup now includes a new, lower-priced AWD variant that sports 19-inch alloy wheels. All the GV60 trims also get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus Genesis Connected Services.
Genesis upgrades the GV70’s infotainment system by adding wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also makes Genesis Connected Services standard on all trims and shuffles some exterior color choices.
The 2025 Genesis GV80 undergoes a significant redesign, featuring a new exterior design, MLA headlights, 22-inch alloy wheels, larger front air intakes, a wider skid plate design, a tidier rear-end treatment, and new V-shaped chrome trim.
The revised interior design includes a two-tone sport steering wheel, enlarged front cupholders, and a reconfigured wireless device charging tray. The GV80 also features a new 27-inch infotainment screen with large visual representations of major functions. Drivers can choose among three instrument cluster themes: standard driver information, advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) functions, and dynamic map and destination information.
The new GV80 offers two engine options: a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that delivers 300 horsepower and a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 producing 375 hp.
For 2025, Genesis introduces the GV80 Coupe—a high-performance SUV that combines practicality with dynamic style. The exterior features a sleek silhouette, MLA headlights, a double-layered grille, and Coupe-exclusive 20- and 22-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, LED surface-emitting lamps, an integrated auxiliary brake light, and a uniquely styled descending rear spoiler are design highlights.
Inside, the sporty motif echoes the GV80 SUV but offers distinctive features like the two-tone D-cut steering wheel, carbon garnish patterns, and coupe-exclusive seats.
The Coupe’s two engine choices begin where the GV80 SUV’s end: twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 with 375 hp and a mild-hybrid-enhanced version of the same engine with 409 hp.
