The Chevrolet Blazer is a midsize two-row crossover SUV with decent passenger room. The automaker is revising its lineup for the 2026 model year. Chevy discontinues the Premium trim level, and the RS now comes standard with a black roof and a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine. The 3.6-liter V6 engine is now optional on the RS and no longer available on the LT. Additionally, the 2LT trim now includes a broader range of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) as standard equipment. Pricing for the 2026 Chevrolet Blazer starts at $36,295, including the $1,995 destination charge.

Three trims are available on the 2026 Blazer. The 2LT is the base model, followed by the midrange 3LT. The RS is the most expensive and luxurious trim.
The 2LT includes exterior features such as 18-inch wheels, LED headlights, and heated, power-adjustable side mirrors. The cabin keeps passengers comfortable with amenities such as heated front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control. You also get technology features such as a 10.2-inch touchscreen, voice recognition, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a six-speaker stereo.
More goodies await with the 3LT. This trim adds a power liftgate and auto-dimming side mirrors with integrated turn signals. The cabin also features upgrades, including perforated leather upholstery and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The RS adds a hands-free liftgate for easy cargo access, a black roof, and 20-inch wheels. It also includes a heated steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging, navigation, and a Bose eight-speaker stereo.
The standard powertrain is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. A 3.6-liter V6 is optional, producing 308 hp and 270 pound-feet of torque. All 2026 Blazers have a nine-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive is standard. All-wheel drive is optional. The 2026 front-wheel drive Blazer with the standard engine returns up to 25 mpg in combined driving.
All 2026 Blazer SUVs include ADAS that can help keep you safe on the road. The lineup includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot warning, and lane keeping assistance. A surround view camera is optional.
The Blazer is one of the most affordable two-row midsize SUVs on the market. It costs less than rivals such as the Honda Passport, Toyota Land Cruiser, and Toyota Crown Signia. When you combine that with its generous standard features, Chevy's SUV is excellent for buyers focused on value. Keep in mind, however, that the Blazer is best suited for pavement adventures. If you want an off-road-friendly midsize SUV, consider the Land Cruiser, Toyota 4Runner, and Jeep Grand Cherokee.
