As a builder of trucks exclusively, the Ram brand doesn’t have an extensive portfolio. However, the 2025 model year represents one of the busiest in the Stellantis brand’s recent history as it launches all-new versions of its light-duty Ram 1500 pickup (including multiple specialty variants) and the Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty pickup models. Including the recently introduced all-electric Ram ProMaster EV full-size van, these are exciting times for the domestic truck brand.
Changes to the individual 2025 Ram model lines are listed below alphabetically.
An all-new Ram 1500 pickup truck debuts for the 2025 model year with bold styling, new engines, and more tech. An all-new Tungsten trim level also makes its debut, sitting atop the light-duty Ram 1500 lineup and bringing loads of premium features and advanced technology.
While some buyers may lament the departure of the Hemi V8, two new, twin-turbocharged “Hurricane” straight-six engines promise better performance and fuel efficiency. A new power inverter with two covered outlets resides in the pickup bed, allowing owners to power small electric equipment, which is useful when tailgating or on the job site.
Drivers in the new Ram 1500 face a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and front-seat passengers get their own 10.25-inch screen. A new 14.5-inch touchscreen is the gateway to the Uconnect 5 infotainment system. Additionally, there’s a new rearview camera mirror and head-up display. Available tech includes dual wireless phone charging pads and digital key functionality. The latest Ram 1500 also ups the ante regarding advanced driver assistance systems, highlighted by the available Level 2+ hands-free driving technology.
The 2025 model year also sees the debut of two specialty Ram 1500 variants: the Ramcharger and RHO, each targeting a different type of customer. Not a conventional plug-in hybrid, the electrified Ramcharger employs a gasoline V6 engine to power a generator that converts the energy into electricity, which it sends to a battery pack and subsequently to electric drive modules at the front and rear that power the wheels. Its outward appearance blends the conventional Ram 1500 and the all-electric Ram 1500 REV (see below).
Whereas the Ramcharger focuses on efficiency, the new Ram 1500 RHO is a dedicated off-road performance truck aimed directly at enthusiasts. While it doesn’t quite measure up to the recently departed Ram 1500 TRX, the RHO tops the current range of light-duty Ram off-road sport trucks, including the Rebel and Warlock. The RHO has a 540-horsepower, twin-turbocharged Hurricane six-cylinder engine, a nine-mode drive selector, and a standard adaptive damping air suspension.
Developed concurrently with the all-new, conventionally powered 2025 Ram 1500, the new Ram 1500 REV is fully electric and built on a dedicated full-size electric-vehicle (EV) platform. Promising class-leading range as well as robust towing and payload ratings, the new Ram 1500 REV is available with one of two batteries: a standard 168-kilowatt-hour (kWh) unit targeting 350 miles of range and an optional 229-kWh battery that Ram expects to travel more than 500 miles. Later in the model run, Ram plans to introduce an extended-range Ram 1500 REV XR.
As of this writing, Ram has yet to release official information for the 2025 Heavy Duty truck lineup. The truck maker will announce details in early January 2025.
Last refreshed for the 2023 model year, Ram’s large ProMaster passenger and cargo vans received a heated steering wheel and windshield as new options for 2024. Ram also gave its full-size vans new parking-assistance technology. For 2025, the big vans carry over unchanged.
A late 2024 arrival, the all-new Ram ProMaster EV introduced an all-electric alternative to the full-size cargo and passenger van market. Available in two versions—delivery and non-delivery/cargo—the ProMaster EV packs a standard 110-kWh battery pack that Ram says delivers 174 miles of range. According to Ram, the ProMaster EV can charge at Level 3 DC fast-charging stations at 50, 85, 125, or 150 kW.
For 2025, two new 159-inch-wheelbase, high-roof, 3500 Cargo Vans arrive in regular and extended lengths. Also, 2500 Delivery Van versions get two new exterior paint color options: Black Clear Coat and Bright Silver Metallic.
