The 2026 Toyota Tundra arrives with a host of enhancements, featuring an upgraded Capstone interior, improved off-roading equipment, a new TRD Pro-exclusive color, and a standard 32.2-gallon fuel tank across all trim levels.

The most noticeable upgrade to the 2026 Toyota Tundra’s interior is the Capstone’s new shale-textured trim, which gives Toyota’s flagship truck a more upscale cabin. The Limited trim also features new leather-trimmed seats in black or grey, with contrast stitching.
The TRD Pro now features ISO Dynamic seats, first introduced by Toyota on the Tacoma TRD Pro, enhancing comfort during trail driving. The TRD Rally package now includes a 3-inch TRD lift kit and the Tow Tech package, boosting the truck’s capability straight from the factory. For the 2026 model year, Toyota adds an exclusive Wave Maker color to this trim.
For 2026, Toyota makes a 32.2-gallon fuel tank standard across all Tundra trims, replacing the smaller previous option. A tow hitch and 7/4 pin connector are now included on every trim, even the base SR.
Comfort updates apply to the entire 2026 Tundra lineup, including the addition of rear center console vents on Double Cab (extended cab) models, and SmartFlow climate management is now standard on all trucks with single-zone climate control.
A pair of twin-turbocharged V6 engines generates power. The standard i-Force engine delivers 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, while the available i-Force Max hybrid increases output to 437 hp and 583 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission with a tow/haul mode. The Tundra’s maximum towing capacity is a competitive 12,000 pounds.
TRD Pro trims with the TRD Off-Road package are equipped for off-road adventures with features such as Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, and downhill assist. These trims also feature an electronically locking rear differential and a Multi-Terrain Monitor system with selectable camera views.
All 2026 Tundras come equipped with Toyota’s Audio Multimedia infotainment system, which offers a standard 8-inch touchscreen or an optional 14-inch display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard features, and the system includes a one-year Drive Connect trial that activates voice commands with the phrase “Hey, Toyota.”
Toyota Safety Sense 2.5—the automaker’s advanced driver assistance systems suite—comes standard across the lineup. It features forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and more. A rear-seat reminder system is also standard, while features like blind spot warning and front and rear parking assist are available.

The 2026 Toyota Tundra competes with full-size pickups like the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Ford F-150, GMC Sierra 1500, and Ram 1500. With its bold design, hybrid powertrain, and off-road pedigree, the Toyota Tundra continues to carve out its place among the segment’s most capable and versatile trucks.
