For 2026, Toyota focuses on refining its popular Sienna minivan and adding value to each trim, while keeping the exterior relatively unchanged. The entry-level Sienna LE now features an eight-speaker audio system, an 8-inch infotainment display, a power sliding rear door, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear window shades, and a windshield wiper de-icer, all standard. It also gains roof rails and a one-year Remote Connect trial.

The XLE grade adds standard black roof rails and a new standalone JBL audio option, while the XSE gets a premium audio system with 12 speakers, a subwoofer, and an amplifier as standard equipment. The adventurous Woodland Edition includes grade-exclusive all-weather floor and rear cargo mats to handle muddy shoes and gear. Heavy Metal paint joins the color options for most trims, replacing Magnetic Gray and Celestial Silver.

The sporty XSE trim receives a subtle update with a black mesh grille, roof rails, lower side rockers, door handle inserts, and a shark fin antenna. Siennas with FWD ride on dark chrome 20-inch alloy wheels, while AWD vans sit on 18-inch alloy wheels. Suspension updates include different spring rates, stabilizer bars, and damping adjustments in the shocks to improve handling.

Every 2026 Sienna continues to use Toyota’s 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain, producing 245 horsepower. Siennas with FWD achieve a Toyota-estimated combined fuel economy of 36 mpg, while AWD versions deliver 35 mpg combined.

Inside, comfort and practicality remain the focus. Higher trims feature premium SofTex or leather upholstery and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with the latest Toyota Audio Multimedia interface. Optional features like a FridgeBox™ and an integrated vacuum cleaner are available on the Limited and Platinum trims. Voice-activated Intelligent Assistant, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring, and over-the-air software updates improve everyday convenience.

Every 2026 Sienna comes equipped with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, a comprehensive safety package that features adaptive cruise control, lane centering assistance, traffic sign recognition, and a forward collision warning system with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking.

2026 Toyota Sienna Platinum Interior Dashboard

The 2026 Toyota Sienna remains one of the most well-rounded minivans on the market today, offering standard hybrid efficiency, available AWD, and a variety of family-friendly features.

The minivan segment remains relatively small, with the Chrysler Pacifica, Honda Odyssey, and Kia Carnival being the only competitors. While each offers distinct advantages in pricing, driving dynamics, seating flexibility, technology, and drivetrain options, the Sienna’s hybrid-only setup and Toyota’s reputation for reliability and build quality make it a favorite for buyers seeking long term value and low operating costs.
