Celebrating the final year of production for Toyota’s modern sports car revival, the 2026 Toyota GR Supra MkV Final Edition features bold styling, track-focused upgrades, and mechanical refinements to commemorate the end of an era.

Beyond cosmetic tweaks, Toyota adds several performance upgrades to the 2026 GR Supra MkV Final Edition, including stronger chassis bracing, a retuned suspension, and larger Brembo brakes. Additionally, Toyota states that the sports car’s revised differential control and optimized electric power steering contribute to a more planted and responsive feel on the street or the track.
Aerodynamic upgrades include front wheel-arch flaps, a carbon fiber ducktail rear spoiler, and higher tire spats, all designed to enhance balance and stability at high speeds. Toyota will also offer buyers a GT4-style package in the fall of 2025. It includes a choice of two new matte colors—Burnout and Undercover—as well as a matte carbon spoiler, red mirror caps, and blacked-out badging.
Under the hood, the GR Supra’s powertrain remains unchanged: a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder engine delivering 382 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque. Toyota says that the GR Supra MkV Final Edition will accelerate from zero-to-60 mph in 3.9 seconds with the eight-speed automatic transmission and 4.2 seconds with the six-speed manual. Toyota’s Intelligent Manual Transmission software helps optimize torque on upshifts and rev-matches on downshifts, providing a smoother ride.
Inside, the GR Supra MkV Final Edition features Alcantara- and leather-trimmed sport seats with an embroidered GR (Gazoo Racing) logo, red seat belts, and exclusive red upholstery accents.
Key technology highlights include an 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, optional 12-speaker JBL premium audio, and available wireless Apple CarPlay and Qi wireless charging capabilities. The standard Toyota safety suite remains; buyers can upgrade to adaptive cruise control, blind-spot warning, and parking assistance on select trim levels.
For its final year of production, every GR Supra buyer receives a one-year membership to the National Auto Sport Association (NASA), including a free high-performance driving event and discounted admission to NASA-sanctioned events.

Key competitors to the 2026 Toyota GR Supra MkV Final Edition include the BMW M2, Ford Mustang, Nissan Z, and Porsche 718 Cayman.
As Toyota takes the MkV GR Supra on its farewell tour, the Final Edition serves as both a tribute and a sendoff. With performance upgrades and a tighter connection to its motorsport roots, the MkV Final Edition offers enthusiasts one last chance to experience a modern Supra before the brand potentially shifts toward electrification. For those who have followed the Supra’s rebirth, this final chapter brings closure, clarity, and perhaps even a reason to celebrate.
