What's New for the 2025 Infiniti Models?

Jeff Youngs | Nov 05, 2024

With the departure of the ancient Q50 sport sedan, the 2025 Infiniti lineup now comprises SUVs exclusively. While the changes are minor for the QX50, QX55, and QX60 crossovers, the full-size QX80 SUV is all-new for the 2025 model year, introducing fresh styling, an upgraded cabin with several new camera technologies, high-end audio systems, and a new engine.

Changes to the individual 2025 Infiniti model lines are listed below alphabetically.

2025 Infiniti QX50 Changes - Find the best Infiniti QX50 deals!

Infiniti’s entry-level QX50 compact crossover SUV gets a slimmed-down lineup for 2025, shedding the top Sensory and Autograph trim levels. The remaining trims—Pure, Luxe, and Sport—get standard all-wheel drive (AWD) for 2025. Otherwise, the QX50 carries over, powered by a variable-compression turbocharged (VC-Turbo) 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).

2025 Infiniti QX55 Changes - Find the best Infiniti QX55 deals!

Essentially a QX50 with a faster roofline (and less cargo space), the Infiniti QX55 sees no changes for 2025. It continues in Essential, Luxe, and Sensory trims, powered by the same 2.0-liter VC-Turbo as the QX50.

2025 Infiniti QX60 Changes - Find the best Infiniti QX60 deals!

Infiniti’s three-row QX60 midsize crossover SUV gets a new engine for 2025: a 2.0-liter VC-Turbo producing 268 horsepower and 286 pound-feet of torque. The new four-cylinder replaces the previous V6. Whereas the VC-Turbo in the QX50 and QX55 works with a CVT, the QX60 keeps its conventional nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard with AWD available.

A new Black Edition package comprises gloss black 20-inch wheels, grille surround, roof rails, and badging. The package also includes an illuminated Infiniti grille emblem, kick plates, and puddle lamps.

Elsewhere, all trims get a new key fob, and Luxe and higher grades get an upgraded 17-speaker Bose Performance audio system.

2025 Infiniti QX80 Changes - Find the best Infiniti QX80 deals!

Infiniti redesigns its big QX80 SUV for the 2025 model year, applying the brand’s “Artistry in Motion” design language on the outside while endowing the cabin with high-quality soft-touch materials and new technologies. A new twin-turbocharged V6 engine is under the hood, replacing the venerable V8.

Available in Pure, Luxe, Sensory, and Autograph trim levels, the all-new QX80 has a more squared-off look, borrowing styling elements from the QX Monograph concept. Inside, Infiniti takes the quality level up a notch, incorporating new materials with a multi-layered design.

Dual 14.3-inch displays—one for driver instrumentation and the other for infotainment—span the dashboard with a separate screen below housing the climate controls. New camera technologies aid visibility, towing, and help those in front to keep an eye on things in the SUV’s second row. There’s even a new Journey Diary for sharing photos or videos from your trip on social media.

As mentioned, a new 450-hp, twin-turbo, 3.5-liter V6 engine delivers significantly more power and torque than the outgoing V8. A nine-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear or all four wheels. Six drive modes are available, and buyers can opt for an electronic air suspension.
