GMC gives serious makeovers to its Yukon full-size SUV and Terrain compact crossover SUV for the 2025 model year. On the electric vehicle (EV) front, the Sierra EV gets added range, while the Hummer EV models stand pat. Other GMC models see minor changes for the new model year.

The GMC Acadia crossover offers a new Elevation Premium package for 2025, and the Elevation trim now features eight-passenger seating.
For 2025, GMC introduces a Canyon AT4 Nightfall Edition with a rocker panel protector, all-terrain tires, 20-inch high-gloss black aluminum wheels, a bed-mounted off-road sports bar, and black badging. The AT4X trim now offers an optional snorkel, and all Canyons offer a Bed Pro Utility package that includes utility truck bed walls matched with universal straps and latches.
GMC outlines no changes to the all-electric Hummer EV SUV and Hummer EV Pickup for 2025.
Minor equipment upgrades are the changes to the 2025 Sierra full-size pickup. Cruise control is now standard on the Pro trim, and a trailer brake controller is standard on SLE and higher trims. The truck now offers the availability of 22-inch bright split-spoke wheels.
For 2025, GMC offers Sierra EV buyers more range and choice. The full-size pickup—available exclusively in Denali trim this year—now offers Extended and Max Range versions, with a range of 390 and 460 miles, respectively. The brand plans to expand the Sierra EV lineup with Elevation and AT4 trims in the first half of 2025.
The 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD get several new features, including adaptive cruise control with trailering standard on AT4 and Denali and front and rear park assist available on Pro and SLE trims. The Sierra HD Pro Safety Plus package now includes front and rear park assist, and a trailer brake controller is now standard across all trims.
GMC launches a next-generation 2025 version of the Terrain compact SUV. All are equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine offering 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque, enabling up to 1,500 pounds of trailering. GMC fits the cabin with a 15-inch digital screen, and the vehicle can display up to eight camera views for superior all-around visibility. The 11-inch digital driver information center lets drivers view up to three applications simultaneously.
Other premium features include an optional rearview camera mirror, 5G Wi-Fi hotspot capability, a surround-view camera, rain-sensing wipers, a heated wiper park, and an automatic power liftgate. On the exterior, the 2025 Terrain offers two-tone treatments with black or gray roofs.
GMC unveils a heavily refreshed 2025 Yukon full-size SUV featuring technology upgrades, exterior enhancements, and a refreshed interior design. The standard 6.2-liter V8 engine, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, offers 420 hp, but the big news is the new availability of a 3.0-liter turbodiesel across the lineup for the first time.
The SUV’s revamped interior features a 16.8-inch infotainment display, an 8-inch-diagonal rear climate control touchscreen, and a panoramic sunroof. The 2025 Yukon also offers advanced driver assistance features, including Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving, Night Vision, front pedestrian and bicyclist detection, and side bicyclist warning. The Denali Ultimate trim offers luxury features like a 22-speaker Bose audio system, while the AT4 Ultimate features a front skid plate and 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires.
