They produce 615 hp and 650 pound-feet of torque, and the 102-kWh battery provides an estimated 300 miles of range. In addition to providing a comprehensive advanced driver assistance systems package, the new Vistiq comes standard with active blind-spot warning, side bicyclist alert, and forward-collision warning. Night Vision is also available, further helping drivers see potential hazards.

Cadillac didn’t go into extensive detail about the Vistiq’s infotainment system. However, expect it to have Google Built-in (and not Apple CarPlay) as standard equipment. However, the automaker did say the SUV will come standard with a 23-speaker AKG Studio Audio system featuring Dolby Atmos technology, promising a rich, immersive listening experience.

As is becoming more common in today’s EVs, the Vistiq comes standard with V2H bi-directional charging capabilities. When paired with the available GM Energy V2H Bundle, this technology enables you to use the energy stored in the vehicle’s battery to power your home in the event of a blackout.

The midsize, three-row electric premium crossover SUV market continues to grow. While there’s not too much competition now (the Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV, Rivian R1S, and Tesla Model X come to mind), Cadillac will undoubtedly face a growing number of competitors. With inoffensive styling, a potent powertrain, and some cool tech features, the new Vistiq is well-positioned for success.
