With the discontinuation of the 350Z, the all-new 370Z was unveiled in 2009 as its official replacement. It offered a larger and more capable engine, better handling and upgraded interior materials. A new roadster model was introduced in 2010, replacing the 350Z roadster that was discontinued. In addition, updates for that year included new powered and heated mirrors, improved GPS system and Bluetooth integration.
A special 40th Anniversary Edition Z trim was also offered, featuring signature styling, unique paint and badging. The 370Z would go through 2012 unchanged. But in 2013, new LED running lights were added and some minor updates were made to different trim levels. The car would remain unchanged in 2014.
