For 2020 the Nissan Kicks comes standard with Nissan's Safety Shield 360 technology suite. This new addition to the features list helps make the Kicks a safer and easier to drive vehicle by adding automatic emergency braking, a pedestrian detection system, a lane departure warning system, a blind spot warning system, rear cross traffic alert and a high beam assist function. In addition, 2020 models also get a rear door alert system, which should remind owners if they have left something in the back seat and attempted to walk away without it after reaching their destination.
