A welcomed third-generation version of the Audi TT premieres for 2016 as a coupe and roadster. The 2016 Audi TT's 12.3-inch virtual cockpit display is an innovative configurable instrument panel allowing drivers to operate with a classic view or ‘infotainment mode'. Falling just short of being a completely new vehicle for 2016, the Audi A6 sedan gains considerable styling and performance upgrades.
Provided with a sharper, new front end featuring LED headlights, the rear of the 2016 A6 is proportioned similarly to the Audi TT and upcoming R8. Engine power for the 2016 Audi A6 is enhanced through the presence of an all-new 2.0-liter TFSI gasoline powerplant providing 252 horsepower (a 32 horsepower improvement over the previous base engine). Buyers of the high-performance 2016 Audi S6 can summon an additional 30 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged V-8 powerplant that generates 450 horsepower in total.
An upgraded version of the Audi MMI infotainment is also being added to several models boasting in-car 4G LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity. Excluded from the 2016 model year Audi line-up is the 450-horsepower RS5 Coupe and Cabriolet. All 2016 model year Audi A5 receives the S line exterior styling as standard equipment. Several important Audi products such as the Q7 crossover vehicle and the all-electric R8 e-tron are being readied as 2017 model year.
