About TT

Audi’s first conventional sports car since the Quattro, the TT becomes instantly recognized for its radically redefining shape and available quattro all-wheel drive. Debuting in 2000 in the form of coupe, the Audi TT was powered by a turbocharged 1.8-liter engine generating 180 horsepower. Later 2000 model year Audi received a factory-installed rear spoiler and an electronic stability control system to cure high-speed handling issues.

For 2001, the Audi TT line-up expanded with the addition of a convertible roadster body style and the availability of a more powerful 225-horsepower engine. By 2004, a 250-horsepower, 3.2-liter V-6 engine was optional on the Audi TT Coupe and Roadster. For 2008, the Audi TT received a major redesign that softened the curves of the original exterior shape and an updated interior. A 200-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged engine assumed the role as the smaller powerplant while the V-6 engine remained at the high-end for performance.

Offered with front-wheel and all-wheel drive, the 2008 Audi TT presented the optional handling enhancement of magneto theological shock absorbers. The 3.2-liter V-6 engine as well as the front-wheel drive Audi TT model was discontinued for the 2010 model year. A mild performance boost on the 2011 Audi TT allowed the turbocharged 2.0-liter engine to generate 211 horsepower. For 2015, the Audi TT line-up receives a complete redesign and re-engineering.
