The Audi Q5 and SQ5 carry over into 2020 mostly unchanged, though some of the equipment packages have been updated and changed. Most notably, a new Convenience Plus Package adds wireless charging, a signal booster and parking sensors for the front and rear bumpers. A couple of new wheel designs have been added for 2020 as well. The SQ5 now gets a high-beam assist feature as standard, while the Convenience Plus Package now comes with the Premium trim.

The newly minted 2019 Audi Q5 receives a solid list of standard features across the lineup as heated front seats, electric rear safety door locks and a 7-inch-color driver display are now all included equipment. Premium Plus models get Navigation and rear-seat USB ports, while a new Black Optic package adds titanium black exterior trim and 20-inch off-road wheels. The SQ5, available for the first time as a Premium model, includes S-model exterior elements and LED headlights.

Audi have redesigned the Q5 and the SQ5 for 2018. The new luxury SUV has a more spacious interior and a sportier, slightly more coupe-like exterior for this generation. All-wheel drive continues to be standard, though the base engine has been given a redesign and now makes significantly more power and torque than the one it replaces. Given these improvements, it's a good bet the Audi Q5 continues to be one of the German marque's top selling vehicles.

The 3.0T Prestige model now features a 3-spoke multifunction steering wheel with paddle shifters, plus Audi drive select and adaptive cruise control. Q5 2.0T Premium models now feature 19-inch alloy wheels, while the 3.0 SQ5 comes standard with dynamic steering and offers a Black Optic Plus Package, with matte black rear diffuser and gloss black rear spoiler, door handles and exterior mirror housings.

The Audi Q5 receives only minor changes for 2016. The panoramic sunroof now comes standard on Premium models, while premium models with the Navigation Plus package also get Audi connect. New options on the high-performance SQ5 include red brake calipers, jet gray diamond stitched seats and a set of 20" wheels.
