2007 Ford Ratings, Reviews and Awards

2007 was a busy and big year for Ford. The brand enjoyed having the number one selling convertible in the US the previous year, with its Mustang outselling the long-popular Chrysler Sebring. The Mustang's high sales demonstrated that even decades after its initial release, it still had a considerable cool factor. For 2007, Ford added two new package options for the Mustang, the GT Appearance, and the California Special. Exterior changes to the headlights and other design choices allowed the 2007 Mustang to more closely align with and to appear to be directly descended from the iconic models produced in the 1960s. The Mustang had a V6 engine that was originally designed for use in the Explorer SUV. The GT trim options offered a 4.6-liter V8 engine. New features in the interior included heated seats, an auxiliary jack, and DVD navigation.
