2019 Ford F-150 trims

2019 F-150

The Ford F-150 continues into 2019 without too many changes. The biggest news is the addition of a new high-output turbocharged V6. While the F-150 had a few different engine options including multiple turbocharged V6's, the standard F-150 never got the ballistic V6 from the Ford Raptor. That has now changed. Owners wanting 450 horsepower lodged in a more standard F-150, without all the raptor suspension can now have their wish.

The Ford F-150 has been completely redesigned for 2015. The new truck is tougher, sturdier and stronger but also lighter and smarter. Ford has injected a healthy dose of modern technology into a class of vehicle that has traditionally valued "proven know-how" over "exciting new possibilities." SVT Raptor models get "beadlock" wheels for 2013, providing extra insurance that the tires will stay stuck to the rims during serious off-roading. A new trim level has also been released in 2013, the F-150 Limited. The Limited features heated and cooled leather seats, subtle ambient lighting, a standard moonroof, aluminum trim, an 8-inch screen with rear backup monitor and 22-inch polished aluminum wheels. 2012 Ford F-150 trims

2012 F-150

After several engine updates last year, the Ford F-150 receives only minor changes for 2012. Among them is a larger, 36-gallon fuel tank standard on all 4-wheel-drive EcoBoost F-150s, which increases range to 750 miles. A new FX appearance package is available on FX4 and FX2 models that includes black and red fender and tailgate badges, 20-inch black wheels, chrome exhaust tip, blacked out exterior trim and decals and a red-stitched steering wheel. On 4-wheel-drive Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum models, a 2-speed automatic 4-wheel drive system replaces last year's electronic shift-on-the-fly transfer case. In addition to 4-high and 4-low, the new system offers a full-time all-wheel-drive instantly transfers torque to the front wheels if the rear wheels lose traction. The system also includes a neutral position, which means the F-150 can be flat-towed if required. Finally, in the performance-oriented F-150 SVT Raptor, Ford has added a new locking front Torsen differential, a front camera to allow drivers to see what's happening directly in front of each tire, and subtle exterior and interior changes to further separate the model from the rest of the F-150 lineup.

About F-150

The top-selling automotive product in the United States, the Ford F-150 has won over customers requiring high utility. Not only is the F-150 seen as a durable powerhouse, it also has one the best MPG among all other trucks. Farmers, ranchers as well as government commercial entities owe the job to the F-150 truck since 1975. Between 1998 and 2014, the Ford F-150 underwent a series of advancements improving efficiency and overall capability. An aerodynamically efficient design was incorporated on the Ford F-150 in the late 1990s. The Ford F-150’s popularity is credited to the impressive flexibility gained through multiple trim levels or body styles.

A regular cab, extended cab and four-door SuperCrew version of the Ford F-150 is currently available. Configured for extreme off-roading, the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor debuted in 2009 as a high-powered performance variant. Typically associated with V-8 engine power (eight-cylinder engines were the only powerplants available on the 2009 and 2010 model year trucks), Ford added a twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V-6 engine to the F-150 line-up in 2011.
