Ford will discontinue the Freestar after the 2007 model year, to be replaced in 2008 by a new vehicle called the Flex. For 2007, the smaller 3.9L engine formerly offered on some of the lineup is no longer available, and a new panic brake assist feature is available with AdvanceTrac.
