The Dodge brand, long known for producing some of the most potent, gas-burning muscle cars American roads have ever seen, is transitioning to an all-electrified lineup. First, it was the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) 2024 Hornet R/T compact crossover SUV. Later in 2024, the brand introduced the all-electric, all-wheel-drive (AWD), two-door 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona.
For 2025, a four-door Charger Daytona EV joins the lineup along with a conventionally powered variant offering a choice of two turbocharged six-cylinder gas engines. There are also four new special-edition Durango SUV models, while the Hornet carries over essentially unchanged.
Changes to the individual 2025 Dodge model lines are listed below alphabetically.
A four-door sedan version of the Charger Daytona EV joins the two-door coupe in 2025, expanding the electric muscle car’s appeal. Dodge also gives those not quite ready to go all-in on EVs a conventionally powered option—the Charger SixPack. It offers a choice between two turbocharged “Hurricane” six-cylinder gas engines producing 420 or 550 horsepower. Later in 2025, the Charger Daytona Banshee will arrive, bringing even more extreme performance.
The only current Dodge model not to offer any electrified powertrain, the 2025 Durango lineup expands with four new special-edition variants—all powered by the venerable Hemi V8 engine. The SRT Hellcat Silver Bullet, R/T 20th Anniversary, SRT Hellcat Hammerhead, and SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey each have a unique look, with varying combinations of special paint, badging, wheel designs, and interior trim. Power for the special edition Durango SUVs comes from a 5.7- or 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine, the latter standard on SRT versions.
For 2025, the Dodge Hornet crossover SUV carries over essentially unchanged, still available in GT, GT Plus, R/T, and R/T Plus trim levels, the latter two featuring a 288-hp PHEV powertrain and 32 miles of all-electric range. There’s only one equipment change: the availability of steering wheel paddle shifters on GT trims (as part of the Track Pack option). Hornet buyers also now qualify for Dodge/SRT’s optional one-day high-performance driving school.
