Acura makes a splash in the electric vehicle (EV) space with the debut of the ZDX SUV, which boasts impressive power and range. It also contains new safety and technology features that are firsts for Acura.

The 2024 model year also sees the introduction of the Acura Integra Type S, setting off waves of nostalgia and excitement for driving enthusiasts. The TLX sedan also benefits from some upgrades, while Acura’s SUVs are quiet for 2024 in terms of changes.
Acura revived the Integra nameplate in 2023 for its all-new sport compact hatchback. For the 2024 model year, Acura amps up the performance by introducing the Integra Type S—an athletically engineered variant featuring a 320-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with a standard 6-speed manual transmission delivering power to the front wheels.
Otherwise, the Integra sees no changes. It continues into 2024 with its 200-hp, 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine and base, A-Spec, and A-Spec Technology trim levels.
Acura is three years into the fourth generation of its popular midsize MDX SUV. It continues into 2024 with no changes. It offers two engine types: a 290-hp 3.5-liter V6 with available all-wheel drive (AWD) and four trim levels: base, Technology, A-Spec, and Advance. Meanwhile, a 355-hp, turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with standard AWD motivates the MDX Type S.
Acura makes a single change for the RDX compact SUV for 2024: AWD is standard across the board. That means all four trim levels—Technology, A-Spec Technology, Advance, and A-Spec Advance—benefit from enhanced traction. Every 2024 RDX has a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine under the hood.
The 2024 model year brings a slew of minor changes for the TLX compact sport sedan. Acura refreshed the styling inside and out, and goodies that previously came with the Technology package now come standard for all versions of the TLX, like 19-inch wheels, leather upholstery, a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, and a larger infotainment center screen. Acura also improves some aspects of the AcuraWatch suite of active safety features. Additionally, the performance-oriented Type S variant gets a new 20-inch wheel design, a head-up display, and altered throttle response in Sport S+ mode.
Acura dives into the world of electrification with the introduction of the ZDX, its first all-electric vehicle. The ZDX is a midsize SUV with one of two powertrains. The ZDX A-Spec has a single motor with 340 hp and 325 miles of range on a single charge. An optional dual-motor version with AWD provides 315 miles of range and rides on 20-inch wheels. Additionally, Acura introduces the ZDX Type S performance variant with dual motors making 500 hp with 288 miles of range. It has 22-inch wheels and an air suspension with adaptive dampers. Acura says the SUV can recapture 81 miles of range in 10 minutes with a DC fast charger.
The ZDX is replete with the latest comfort, safety, and infotainment technology. Noteworthy firsts for Acura include an advanced Level 2 hands-free driving feature called AcuraWatch 360+ and an 18-speaker Bang and Olufsen audio system.
