Redesigned for 2025, Infiniti’s QX80 full-size flagship SUV gets a new Sport trim level for 2026, enhancing the exterior and adding premium touches inside for all three rows.
The 2026 Infiniti QX80 Sport boasts a darker, more aggressive appearance compared to other trims. A redesigned grille, new front bumper, and exclusive 22-inch wheels create the style, while blacked-out trim, mirror caps, lower bumper accents, roof rails, and badges further boost the design. Flush door handles, a full-width rear LED light bar, and sleek LED daytime running lights (DRLs) complement the SUV’s profile.
Four new color options—Mineral Black, Radiant White, Grand Blue, and Dynamic Metal—are exclusive to the Sport trim. Buyers can opt to add a Black Obsidian contrasting roof in combination with the last three colors for a more modern look.
Inside, the Sport features an exclusive Dusk Blue color scheme with dark matte chrome accents throughout the cabin and open-pore wood trim on the instrument panel and doors. Black and blue seat inserts with unique diamond-pattern perforations create an upscale feel, and a panoramic moonroof adds a light, spacious ambiance to the interior.
Personalization is offered through 64-color ambient lighting, and climate-controlled first- and second-row seats increase comfort, complemented by the massaging front seats. A notable feature of the Sport trim is Biometric Cooling, which utilizes an infrared sensor on the headliner to detect when a second-row passenger is hot and adjusts the temperature and airflow to direct cool air their way.
Standard dual 14.3-inch displays include a configurable digital gauge cluster, offering Classic, Elegant, and Enhanced themes, alongside an infotainment screen with Google Built-in. Just below, a dedicated 9-inch touchscreen controls climate functions, heated and ventilated seats, and the drive mode selector, keeping essential features within easy reach.
The QX80 Sport is equipped with many standard advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) you'd expect in a new vehicle. ProPilot Assist 1.1 provides adaptive cruise control and lane centering assistance. Sadly, the QX80 Sport does not offer hands-free driving, a feature only available on the top-tier Autograph trim with ProPilot Assist 2.1.
A 450-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine with 516 pound-feet of torque powers every 2026 QX80. Infiniti couples it with a nine-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The luxury SUV’s maximum towing capacity reaches 8,500 pounds when properly equipped. An adaptive damping air suspension with adjustable ride height is standard.
According to Infiniti, the fuel economy for the Sport trim is rated at 17 mpg combined. The starting price for the 2026 Infiniti QX80 Sport is $104,140, including the $2,190 destination charge.
The 2026 Infiniti QX80 Sport directly rivals full-size luxury SUVs, including the BMW X7 M60i, Cadillac Escalade Sport, Lincoln Navigator Black Label, and Lexus LX F Sport. Equipped with twin-turbo power and a refined interior, the Infiniti QX80 Sport aims to attract buyers seeking both comfort and performance.
