As small SUVs continue to surge in popularity, the refreshed 2025 Kia EV6 delivers sleek styling, advanced technology, and dynamic performance, making it a leader in the electric-vehicle (EV) market.

Built at Kia's Georgia assembly plant, the 2025 EV6 has five trim levels: Light, Light Long Range, Wind, GT-Line, and GT. Each one varies in power output, and thanks to consumer demand, the EV6 now offers larger battery packs, resulting in more range than ever before. Rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and all-wheel-drive (AWD) options are available, depending on trim.

Updates to the 2025 Kia EV6 exterior include a new headlight and daytime running light design stretching across the front fascia, emulating the high-tech Star Map language introduced in the Kia EV9. Sharp pointed lines on the front bumper and a sculpted hood add to the overall sporty and dynamic look. In the rear, three-dimensional taillights and a new wing-like bumper mimic their counterparts up front. These changes result in a steeper, more angular side profile.
Flush door handles with automatic deployment are now standard, and new wheel designs are available in 19- to 21-inch sizes, depending on the trim.

The 2025 Kia EV6's interior sees minor updates that preserve its driver-centric design. The dual 12.3-inch curved displays and climate control panel beneath the air vents remain standard. The center console's layout is unchanged but features a stylish new finish. The steering wheel also gets a makeover.
Despite the exterior modifications, the cabin retains its open and spacious feel. Kia integrated sound-absorbing materials throughout the EV's interior to ensure a quiet ride.
Kia's 2025 EV6 offers larger battery options with a standard 63-kilowatt-hour (kWh) unit and an 84-kWh option targeting a 319-mile range. The RWD configuration delivers 225 hp and 258 pound-feet of torque, while the AWD option boasts 320 hp and 446 pound-feet of torque. The EV6 GT, with its new Virtual Gear Shift feature, generates an impressive 641 hp and 568 pound-feet of torque.
Speedy charging remains instrumental, with an 800-volt DC fast-charging system compatible with the North American Charging Standard and a relocated charge port to the left rear fender for added convenience. The EV6 also benefits from improved steering response and a reinforced frame for increased safety.
The long-range model with the 84-kWh battery offers an improved 2,700-pound tow rating and automatic trailer-weight detection that adjusts the EV’s distance-to-empty.
The 2025 Kia EV6 seamlessly blends safety, technology, and convenience. It has an ADAS suite featuring forward-collision warning, Highway Driving Assist 2, and comprehensive parking aids like Remote Smart Parking Assist, Forward/Side/Reverse Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Parking Distance Warning.
On the technology front, the next-generation Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) delivers faster processing and continuous over-the-air updates for powertrain, navigation, and ADAS features. The Kia Connect Store enhances the driving experience with on-demand entertainment, offering video and music streaming, gaming, and a convenient Wi-Fi hotspot.
With seamless key-sharing capabilities, Kia’s Digital Key 2.0 allows drivers to use their smartphones or NFC-enabled cards as virtual keys. The EV6 also features a unique, customizable display theme that sports fans will love, showcasing NBA team colors and logos.
The 2025 Kia EV6 debuts with a refreshed look that sets it apart from rivals like the Chevrolet Bolt EUV, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Nissan Ariya, and Tesla Model Y. This latest update offers a combination of performance, sleek and modern design, and cutting-edge technology that makes the EV6 a true standout in the compact electric SUV segment.
