2018 Kia Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Kia motors’ 2018 selection of vehicles is once again ready to provide reliable performance in every model. The venerable Soul now has a 1.6L DOHC 16-valve I-4 engine, with a 2.0L DOHC 16-valve I-4 engine as an alternative. This new engine features gasoline direct injection, dual continuously variable valve timing, and 130 hp at 6300 rpm. The Soul also has an improved 118 lb-ft of torque at 4850 rpm. The 2018 Kia Niro FE SUV also has a new suite of features which includes a 1.6L 4-cylinder engine complete with a full parallel hybrid system with 1580 ccs of displacement. Thanks to a 13:1 compression ratio courtesy of the gasoline direct injection system, the FE has a 49 highway miles per gallon fuel efficiency that is hard to beat. Kia’s 2018 Sedona L minivan has been outfitted with a 3.3L V6 engine which gives the vehicle 276 hp at 6000 rpm and 248 lb-ft of torque at 5200 rpm.
