2017 Chevrolet Ratings, Reviews and Awards

It's a tale of two electric cars over at Chevrolet in 2017. The model year saw the introduction of the Chevrolet Bolt, an electric vehicle that has a range of well over 200 miles, one of the first electric vehicles able to make that claim. The Bolt has an AC synchronous electric motor with a 60-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. One notable feature is a regenerative braking system that can bring the car to a full stop when the driver lefts their foot from the accelerator. The debut of the Chevy Bolt means the discontinuation of the Chevy Spark EV, although the gasoline-powered Spark minicar continues. In the realm of gas-powered cars, Chevy has made a few updates to its lineup for 2017. The Chevy Cruze gets a diesel-powered model that gets up to 52/mpg highway as well as a 5-door hatchback model.
