SelectBrowse ListingsThe Chevrolet Trax is an all new vehicle for 2015, making its debut as Chevrolet's entrance into the compact SUV market. Slotting in below the Traverse, the Trax is a compact 5-passenger SUV, ideal for the city, but versatile enough for quick trips to the countryside. With decent ground clearance and available all-wheel drive, the Trax won't stumble over its self the moment the road gets a bumpy and unpaved, but it's also small enough to fit into tight parking spots and to make its way down narrow streets.
SelectBrowse ListingsHaving launched in many countries including Canada during the 2014 model year, the Chevrolet Trax wasn't added to United States showrooms until 2015. Reacting to a growing compact crossover vehicle market, the Trax's appearance represented Chevrolet's first such product since the 2004 Tracker. An entry-level yet versatile vehicle, the Chevrolet Trax rides on a 100.6-inch wheelbase and comes with standard power from a turbocharged 1.4-liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine. Front-wheel drive is standard on the Trax while all-wheel drive is an option. With seating for five, the cabin of the compact crossover offers up to 48.4 cubic feet of cargo space and 15 storage compartments. For 2017, the Chevrolet Trax's front end appearance is radically modernized with a dual-port grille projecting a sportier style. The 2017 Trax will also include a new, available infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
