For 2023, the Chevrolet Traverse adds two new paint colors Radiant Red Tintcoat and Sterling Gray Metallic but otherwise carries over with minimal changes.

For 2022, the Chevrolet Traverse gets a facelift, new standard driver-assistance features, new infotainment features and new upholstery designs.

For 2021, the Chevrolet Traverse carries over with no changes but is expected to get a facelift in the coming year.

After a fairly extensive redesign last year, the Traverse returns to 2020 with just a few changes. A Buckle-to-Drive feature is added to Teen driver mode and the Driver Confidence package is available on more trim levels. The turbocharged 4-cylinder engine has been discontinued leaving the 3.6L V6 engine as the sole drivetrain for the Traverse.

The 2018 Traverse offers two engine choices; a standard 3.6L direct-injected V6 engine that produces 305 hp and 260 lb-feet of torque with an optional choice for the sporty RS trim level which is given a 2.0L Turbo Ecotec engine making 255 horsepower and 295 lb-feet of torque. All trim levels come paired with a 9-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission and all-wheel drive except the RS, which comes with the front-wheel drivetrain only. With a combined 21 MPG and a 5000-lb plus towing capacity and all the tech features we've come to expect the all new Traverse makes a strong argument for itself.

The Chevrolet Traverse is unchanged for 2017, though the top of the line LTZ model has been renamed and is now called the Premiere trim.
