The Pro-4X saw a sweet upgrade for 2015 with the NissanConnect smartphone integration and GPS being added as standard technology features. In par with a slew of technology related updates was the regenerative braking system being added to the Leaf to preserve battery life. The NV wasn’t overlooked, either, with a 5.8-inch touchscreen display being added alongside of the NissanConnect system. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) was added to the Pathfinder to improve handling, while the Quest got a new 5” touchscreen and improved fuel economy thanks to transmission updates. A refreshed Versa and Murano graced showroom floors, offering a new style inside and out and standard Bluetooth integration. The long-wheelbase Titan was discontinued, as was the four-door cab. But the biggest news of the year was the Nismo trim addition to the GT-R, boasting a new 600-horsepower engine.
