After a busy 2024 model year that saw the introduction of the TX luxury three-row SUV and the new generation of the GX luxury midsize SUV, the Lexus brand is taking a collective breather for 2025. Many of its models get added equipment and/or added trim levels, but there are no startling changes for the new year.

After a multi-year absence, the ES 350 Black Line Special Edition package returns to the Lexus ES lineup for 2025. It’s exclusive to the ES 350 F Sport Handling model and includes Obsidian outer mirrors, a black rear lip spoiler, and a black lower rocker panel. Limited to 1,000 units across North America, it builds on the ES 350 F Sport Handling grade with the same interior and exterior color options, and it also can include an available Mark Levinson premium audio system.
After a new generation of the GX launched in 2024, the 2025 version of the luxury midsize SUV gets a few new fillips. The GX range now includes memory seats and mirrors and a memory power tilt/telescopic steering column. It also offers a one-inch suspension lift on Overtrail and Overtrail+ trims.
New standard equipment for the 2025 IS 300 F Sport and IS 350 F Sport includes a heated steering wheel, dark chrome window trim, a memory package, a power tilt/telescopic steering column, and power-folding mirrors. The IS 500 F Sport now offers a limited-edition special appearance package that includes 19-inch BBS wheels, exterior Flare Yellow paint, interior trim in black faux leather, floor mats, key gloves, and a digital key.
The 2025 Lexus LC luxury sports car changes are minimal. It now offers an Iridium exterior color option, a carbon fiber scuff plate on the LC 500h with Sport package, and added front and rear underfloor braces.
Marking the model’s 35th year, the Lexus LS luxury sedan rolls into 2025 with no changes from 2024.
Lexus' flagship LX luxury SUV adds a hybrid powertrain incorporating a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 engine. The Overtrail trim includes two or three rows of seating and is now available exclusively on the hybrid-powered LX 700h. The Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 also becomes standard across the entire LX lineup.
Two USB Type-C ports in the front console, a wireless device charger on all trims, and two new color options—Copper Crest and Macadamia—are the key changes to the 2025 NX lineup. Lexus adds a power-operated back door, automatic rain-sensing wipers, and “Intuitive Parking Assist with Automatic Braking” to the standard equipment list.
Lexus will discontinue the RC and RC F when the 2025 model year concludes. After a decade and sales of over 90,000 units in 62 countries, the 2025 RC and RC F will have no changes as they wave goodbye.
The popular Lexus RX sees a small handful of minor changes for 2025, the most notable being the addition of a new Black Line Special Edition. Available exclusively on the RX 500h F Sport Performance trim, it brings black accents, orange brake calipers, and black 21-inch wheels. The Special Edition is also available in a unique new color: Incognito. The RX 350 and RX 350h are also available in a new trim: F Sport Design. Lastly, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen is now standard across the board.
The 2025 Lexus RZ expands consumers' battery-electric vehicle (BEV) options by adding an entry-level trim to its RZ 300e and RZ 450e AWD trims. Less expensive than the Premium and Luxury versions, the base trims lack some features like a power tilt/telescopic steering column and ventilated front seats.
The 2025 TX line introduces the F Sport Handling trim, only available on the TX 350 AWD. It features adaptive suspension, parking assist, a panoramic glass roof, power-folding third-row seats, and ventilated front seats. Distinctive exterior features include black roof rails, dark chrome window trim, and 22-inch matte black wheels. In addition to the new trim, a 12.3-inch multi-information display is now standard on TX 350 grades.
The 2025 Lexus UX 300h has a new powertrain, boosting its total system horsepower to 196. The hybrid transaxle and lightweight lithium-ion battery contribute to this performance. The 2025 model-year UX includes updated technology and safety features, with new shift-by-wire technology and a new exterior color option: Copper Crest.
