Best Car Deals in April 2024

For the best deal on a new car, SUV, or truck, look no further than most new electric vehicles (EVs). Based on JD Power and automaker data, car companies are making it easier to go electric by slicing thousands of dollars off the price or making lease payments irresistible. With the savings, you can buy a home charging station that makes living with an EV easier.

However, deals are available on many types of 2023 and 2024 model-year vehicles. The list below includes new-car incentives, rebates, and discounted loan finance rates.

We’ve grouped them into five primary types:

• Cash offers. These are available to nearly everyone and can apply to a purchase or a lease.
• Customer loyalty cash offers. These are available to people who already own or lease a model made by the automaker offering the incentive. They are typically applicable to a loan or a lease.
• Conquest cash offers. These are available to people who own or lease a model made by a rival automaker. They are typically applicable to a loan or a lease.
• Discounted financing rates. These are typically available to people with excellent credit who obtain a loan through a specific financial institution.
• Federal income tax credit for electric vehicles. These are typically available to anyone who qualifies for the credit and purchases an eligible vehicle. With leases, automakers will often find a way to apply this amount as an incentive to lower the lease payments on models that otherwise would be ineligible for the credit.

Below is a summary of the best new car deals listed alphabetically by brand. The information was as complete and accurate as possible on April 5, 2024, and we strongly recommend visiting the automaker’s website or your local dealership for more details and clarification.
