Jeep is celebrating 85 years of its iconic brand in 2026 by releasing 12 new Jeep Wrangler special edition models over the next year, one per month, starting with the Hemi V8-powered 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 in November 2025.

The first of Jeep’s “Twelve 4 Twelve” special edition Wranglers, the 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392, features distinctive exterior, interior, and mechanical elements. The exterior package features a body color hardtop, cold air intake hood, mold-in-color fender flares, black tow hooks, and rock rails.
Inside, the new Moab 392 Wrangler offers heated seats wrapped in black Nappa leather, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a nine-speaker Alpine premium audio system. Customers can also opt for a panoramic sunroof, an 8,000-pound Warn winch, and all-weather floor mats.

Perhaps the most notable feature of the new Wrangler Moab 392 is its 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine that produces 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. It powers 35-inch all-terrain tires on 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels through a Selec-Trac full-time transfer case with a 4.56 axle ratio. A two-mode dual exhaust system is also part of the mechanical setup.
Beyond the special editions, Jeep is introducing several updates across the Wrangler lineup for 2026. These include doors that are easier and quicker to remove thanks to new hinges, and five new limited edition exterior colors. There is also optional steel bumpers and a front Warn winch for the two-door Willys trim.
For 2026, Jeep offers the Wrangler in Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and the new Moab 392 trim levels. Both two- and four-door versions are available for each trim, except for the Sahara and Moab 392, which are only offered with four doors. Two-door models seat four, while four-door Wranglers seat five.
Every 2026 Wrangler comes with a Uconnect 5 infotainment system that has a 12.3-inch display. The Moab 392 features a built-in navigation system. Adaptive cruise control is standard on all trims except the base Sport. Still, the most common advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are only available as standalone options or as part of an extra-cost equipment package.
Jeep offers a diverse powertrain lineup for the 2026 Wrangler. Depending on the trim, the options include four-, six-, and eight-cylinder engines, with power ranging from 270 hp for the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder to 470 hp for the Hemi V8 in the Moab 392. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual (V6 only) or an eight-speed automatic. As of now, Jeep has not announced whether the plug-in hybrid 4xe version will return for 2026.
In keeping with tradition, every 2026 Wrangler features standard four-wheel drive (4WD) and a solid axle front and rear suspension. The maximum towing capacity is 5,000 pounds, and Jeep says the Wrangler can ford water up to 35 inches deep.
Jeep produces the Wrangler at its Toledo assembly plant in Toledo, Ohio. The 2026 Wrangler is now available for purchase at Jeep dealerships. Pricing begins in the high-$30,000 range, including the $1,995 destination charge. The first of the 2026 Jeep Wrangler special editions, the Moab 392, has a manufacturer suggested retail price of $81,990, including the destination charge.

If off-road capability is your priority, the Jeep Wrangler has few rivals among compact and midsize SUVs. The Ford Bronco and Toyota 4Runner are rugged, capable options, but neither can match the Jeep’s prowess in offering special editions. With a dozen special editions planned for the 2026 model year—not including the recently announced limited-production Commando 392 version, available only to active military and veterans—there is a Wrangler for nearly everyone.
