2011 Toyota Ratings, Reviews and Awards
Toyota has long been one of the front-runners when it comes to producing fuel-efficient vehicles. In 2011, the automaker doubled down on its commitment to fuel economy and to making fuel-efficient vehicles available to more drivers. The 2011 Prius introduced a new entry-level model, the Prius I. The Prius I has a variety of standard features, including a telescopic steering wheel with a/c controls, a driver's seat with adjustable height, push-button start, an auxiliary input jack, and two 12-volt power outlets. The mid-size Camry, long one of Toyota's best-selling models, also got a fuel economy upgrade for 2011, this time in the form of improved tires. The lower rolling resistance tires help to boost the Camry's fuel economy to 20 mpg/city and 29 mpg/highway. The 2011 Highlander SUV includes a hybrid model and is one of the only SUVs of its class to do so.
