2009 Nissan Ratings, Reviews and Awards

Nissan took on bold shapes in their 2009 releases, most notably found in the eye-catching GT-R sports model. This stunning supercar was America's version of the Skyline GT-R, which was never released in the US. As a supercar, the GT-R features a bold 480-horsepower combined with the high-tech ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive system. Also entering the United States in 2009 is the Cube. This odd looking model offers a fun drive in a compact utility vehicle made affordable for everyone. The Maxima was redesigned in 2009 to accommodate a 290-horsepower engine and a unique appearance dubbed “liquid motion” by Nissan. The Murano received a newly designed interior and exterior, as well as new powertrain that allowed it to appeal to more high-end buyers. Buyers anticipated the return of the popular Z-branded sports car, but the all-new GT-R quickly caught the public's attention. The 350Z also gave way to the increased power of the 370Z Coupe in 2009.
