The rumors of Jaguar’s demise may be overblown. Still, the automaker isn’t as prominent in luxury circles as before. The 2024 model year brings a simplified lineup from Jag, as it has cut all non-R-Dynamic variants, leaving only the most well-equipped models in its catalog. The F-Type will bow at the end of the 2024 model year, and Jaguar updates its sole electric vehicle (EV), the I-Pace. Let’s look at the rest of the changes for the new year.
The E-Pace carries over into 2024 mostly unchanged. Jaguar will continue offering the SUV in a single trim with a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. New standard gear includes a fixed panoramic roof, 19-inch wheels, a heated steering wheel, and an updated driver display system.
The F-Pace is also mostly unchanged heading into 2024, but it picks up a few new standard features like the smaller E-Pace. Jaguar continues offering three powertrain options: the base 246-horsepower turbo-4, a 395-hp mild-hybrid turbocharged and supercharged inline-6, and a 542-hp supercharged V8. Its new standard features include additional power outlets, a heated steering wheel, and a black headliner.
The 2024 model year will be the F-Type’s last, marking the end of Jaguar’s gorgeous coupe. It’s going out in style with two special editions commemorating 75 years of Jaguar sports cars, both with a supercharged V8. The F-Type 75 gets a 450-hp variant of the engine, while the F-Type R 75 gets 575 hp. Jaguar also says 2024 will be its last year to offer a sports car with an internal combustion engine.
Jaguar gave the I-Pace a substantive update for 2024, which brings a new grille design in grey, replacing the gloss-black version in previous models. It also picks up two new satin-grey paint colors for 2024, and new standard features include a heated steering wheel and a black suede headliner. Its electric powertrain delivers 394 hp and 512 pound-feet of torque, which Jaguar says is good for a 4.5-second zero-to-60-mph time and offers a 246-mile range.
Jaguar’s lone sedan, the XF, enters 2024 with little to discuss. It comes in two configurations: the P 250 with 246 hp and the P 300 with 296 hp. It has a power-adjustable steering column, a heated steering wheel, and a new interactive driver display for 2024.
