Founded by famed auto designer Henrik Fisker, the Fisker brand markets a lineup of highly styled electric vehicles (EVs) with a strong environmental focus. The Ocean crossover SUV is the first Fisker model to hit the market. It offers two drivetrain options: one delivering a modest 275 horsepower and the other a potent 564 hp. The brand plans to introduce several other EV models in the next few years: the Fisker Alaska pickup truck, Fisker Pear small SUV, and the Fisker Ronin 4-door convertible sports car.
The Fisker Ocean is so new to the market that most consumers have never seen one. Yet, there are some changes for the 2024 model year. The One trim level, which the automaker intended as a limited-edition launch-year-only model, gets dropped from the lineup. Informed sources suggest Fisker will add an off-road-oriented Force E trim to supplement the on-road Extreme, Ultra, and Sport trims. But that version is currently unavailable on the Fisker website. If it comes to market for the 2024 model year, you can expect it to feature all-terrain tires and additional ground clearance.
