Jaguar recently declared its intentions to become an all-electric automaker by 2025, but it currently has only one electric-vehicle (EV) model on sale—the I-Pace. Even so, its remaining products offer classic British luxury, and a few performance models are in the mix. Jaguar leaves most of its catalog alone for the 2023 model year, but there are a few notable updates across the board. The automaker focuses on technology, safety, and streamlining its model offerings for the new year. Jaguar also trimmed variants and powertrains from other models. Since the departure of the XE sedan following the 2021 model year, the XF is Jaguar’s only sedan.

Jaguar cut the P300 model from the 2023 E-Pace line, leaving a single P250 powertrain with a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. The automaker also offers adaptive cruise control (ACC) with stop-and-go functionality as standard for the new model year. A new optional Premium Black Pack brings 21-inch gloss-black wheels and black exterior trim.
The Jaguar F-Pace enters its seventh year on the market with a new SVR Edition 1988 trim, which brings exclusive styling and materials upgrades from the automaker’s SV Bespoke division. Jaguar will only build 394 units for sale worldwide, and the SUV gets a unique Midnight Amethyst paint color. Jaguar includes self-sealing tires for the P250, P250S, and P400 models, and ACC is available for 2023.
Jaguar is trimming the F-Type lineup for 2023, leaving only a supercharged V8 for its curvy coupe. The engine choices include two output options and either rear- or all-wheel drive (AWD). The base P450 rear-drive F-Type gets a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 making 444 horsepower, while the F-Type R gets 575 hp. A mid-range P450 AWD model gets the lower output. Premium leather and suede sport seats are standard, and the interior comes in four color choices, including Ebony Windsor, Light Oyster, Tan Windsor, and Mars Red.
The all-electric 2023 I-Pace is one of Jaguar’s first models to offer Amazon Alexa capabilities. It also gets wireless smartphone charging as standard for the new model year. Jaguar equips the EV with two electric motors that combine for 394 hp and 512 pound-feet of torque and says that it can reach 60 mph from a standstill in just 4.5 seconds.
The XF carries over into 2023 mostly unchanged. Jaguar offers its lone sedan with one of two 4-cylinder engines, making 246 or 296 hp; the top engine is available with AWD. Jaguar says the car also gets the latest Pivi Pro infotainment system, which brings an updated interface, more fluid menus, less distraction, and Amazon Alexa capability.
