Best Car Deals in December 2024

With the holiday season upon us, the traditional year-end sales push is in full effect as automakers appeal to new-vehicle buyers. In December 2024, car manufacturers are offering competitive discounts on various new cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans. If you’re in the market for a new vehicle, you can review the list of new-car rebates, incentives, and discounted loan finance rates below for the best deals.

We’ve grouped them into five main types:

• Cash offers—These are available to nearly everyone and can apply to a purchase or a lease.
• Customer loyalty cash offers—These are available to people who already own or lease a model produced by the automaker offering the incentive. They are usually applicable to a loan or a lease.
• Conquest cash offers—These are available to people who own or lease a model produced by a rival automaker. They are generally applicable to a loan or a lease.
• Discounted financing rates—These are typically available to people with very good or excellent credit who obtain a loan through a specific financial institution.
• Federal income tax credit for electric vehicles (EVs)—This credit is typically available to anyone who qualifies for the federal tax credit and purchases an eligible hybrid, plug-in hybrid (PHEV), or all-electric vehicle. With leases, automakers will often find a way to apply this amount as an incentive to lower the lease payments on models that otherwise would be ineligible for the credit.

Below is a summary of the best new car deals in December 2024, listed alphabetically by brand. Our researcher used a popular zip code for Los Angeles, California—the second-largest city in the nation and the unofficial center of American car culture. The information was as complete and accurate as possible on December 5, 2024. Still, we strongly recommend visiting the automaker’s website or your local dealership for more details and clarification regarding deals in your area.
