Drawing on the brand's rich history of special muscle cars, the 2027 Dodge Charger Super Bee arrives with more power and higher performance than any model ever to wear the buzzy badge.
Since the first one arrived more than 50 years ago, only a few Chargers have carried the Super Bee designation. They all packed an impressive sting and, until now, also boasted a powerful V8 under the hood. The 2027 Charger Super Bee may not have a V8, but it is not lacking power. The Sixpack High Output twin-turbo inline-six engine under the hood delivers 600 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque, more than any other Super Bee in history.
With all that power on tap and the grip of standard all-wheel drive, the Super Bee sprints to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds and covers the quarter mile in 11.8 seconds, making it considerably quicker than the last Super Bee (2003). However, if you prefer more show than go, a button on the steering wheel sends 100 percent of the power to the rear wheels—ideal for the occasional smoky burnout or for the experienced driver who prefers the classic rear-wheel-drive configuration.
As quick as the Charger Super Bee is on the dragstrip, other enhancements ensure it does more than just go fast in a straight line. Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 Z-rated tires provide strong grip, while the 16-inch Brembo vented rotors paired with six-piston front and four-piston rear brake calipers deliver the necessary stopping power. The Super Bee also features a new dual-valve damping suspension for improved control, making this Charger an ideal performance machine for a twisty mountain road or a day at the track.
Initially, Dodge will offer the 2027 Charger Super Bee as a limited Launch Edition in two- or four-door configurations and three exclusive colors: Sucker Punch, Shady, and Diamond Black with Sucker Punch accents. All will feature gloss-black 20-inch wheels, Hyper Lime brake calipers, Super Bee logo highlights, and special cloth high-back performance seats with Sour Lemon accents and the Super Bee logo embroidered on the headrests.
The Super Bee also stands out with revised headlights and a more aggressive front fascia featuring additional vents for improved cooling. A larger rear spoiler adds downforce and completes the high-performance styling.
The new Charger Super Bee will be produced at the Stellantis Windsor assembly plant in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date later in 2026.
