The Ford F-150 is mostly unchanged for 2026. Tweaks to option packages lower the King Ranch price. Select trim levels now offer BlueCruise hands-free driving technology as a one-time purchase option, and Pro Power Onboard becomes more widely available. Argon Blue, Avalanche, and Ruby Red Metallic are now available exterior colors.

The F-Series is Ford’s bread and butter, and the F-150 pickup is offered in a dazzling array of configurations. Since Ford refreshed it for the 2024 model year and the next generation is expected in 2028, no significant changes are on the menu for 2026. However, a closer look at the changes reveals some interesting updates.
First of all, the King Ranch gets a new base-level equipment group. While the automaker has not revealed exact figures, Ford says the new package lowers the starting price below $70,000. Ford has not disclosed which features it will drop to accommodate the savings, but the penultimate luxury rig currently starts just shy of $75,000 (excluding the $2,595 destination charge).
There is a similar group coming for the range-topping Platinum trim, but no specifics on how or whether it will affect pricing. The off-road-focused Tremor also gets a new option package, making leather seats a whopping $7,700 cheaper.
Another key pricing development concerns BlueCruise. While Ford has previously offered the technology as a one-time purchase, rather than a subscription, for select trims, the option to buy it outright will be available on three additional trims. For 2026, you can purchase it for the XLT, Lariat, Tremor, King Ranch, and Platinum.
Ford has also expanded availability of its handy Pro Power Onboard system, which lets owners plug in equipment at a job site or power creature comforts while camping. It is now a standalone option for King Ranch and Platinum trims with the conventional 3.5-liter V6 and comes standard on the full-hybrid version of the truck.

Pickups are one of the few market segments where brand loyalty remains fierce. Buy the wrong make, and you might ruin Thanksgiving. With automakers continually striving to maintain or expand their market share, innovation is intense. So it makes sense for buyers to cross-shop.
The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is competitively priced against the F-150, and its hands-free Super Cruise system can be used while towing, something Ford’s BlueCruise cannot do. The Ram 1500 is known for its pleasant driving manners, but top-tier trims are significantly more expensive than comparable F-150s. Neither cross-town rival currently has an answer for the top-spec Raptor, though Stellantis just announced the return of the 2027 Ram 1500 SRT TRX. The Toyota Tundra also offers a broad lineup but lacks both a hardcore off-road variant and a V8 engine option.
Ford is the source of information in this article. It was accurate as of January 22, 2026, but it may have changed since then. Always confirm product details and availability with the automaker’s website or your local dealership.
