The 2026 Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary package commemorates 60 years of the automaker’s iconic sport utility vehicle (SUV), blending modern technology with heritage-inspired styling both inside and out.
If you were to commission a Mount Rushmore of American SUVs, the Ford Bronco would likely appear alongside other legendary nameplates like the Chevrolet Suburban, the Willys Jeep, and the Jeep Cherokee. Ford even claims that it invented the term “sport utility” when it launched the first Bronco back in August 1965. While that claim is open to debate, there’s no denying the Ford Bronco’s status as an American SUV icon.
Based on the Outer Banks trim level with the Sasquatch package, the Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary package features several retro-inspired styling cues both inside and out. The SUV is available in either solid Wimbledon White—also featured on the original 1966 Bronco—or in Ruby Red with a contrasting Wimbledon White roof.
The grille honors the original design while displaying red “BRONCO” lettering inside a surround painted in Warm Alloy. On Wimbledon White models, a red stripe graphic with the Bronco 60th anniversary logo runs along the bottom of the doors, complemented by running boards below. On Ruby Red SUVs, the stripe is white.
The SUV’s fenders feature prominent 60th anniversary badging. At the back, a Wimbledon White solid tire cover displays red “BRONCO” lettering, and the swinging tailgate has a matte black Ford badge.
The Bronco 60th Anniversary features exclusive 17-inch Gravity Gray alloy wheels equipped with 35-inch Goodyear all-terrain tires. Paying tribute to the SUV’s history, the wheels display a red center cap with a bucking Bronco logo and “1966” on the outer ring, echoing the very first Bronco made for the 1966 model year.
Inside, Ebony leather seats with Alpine white inserts display 60th anniversary logos on the seatbacks. The Alpine color theme extends to the marine-grade vinyl armrests and dashboard stitching. Meanwhile, the instrument panel and grab handles mounted on the windshield pillars feature Bronco Red accents.
While the Bronco 60th Anniversary’s exterior has a decidedly retro look, the SUV’s mechanicals are modern. The standard turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine delivers power through the Bronco Sasquatch’s advanced four-wheel-drive (4WD) system with electronically locking front and rear differentials. Customers can also choose a more powerful 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine.
Ford will announce the pricing for the 2026 Bronco 60th Anniversary package later this year.
The Ford Bronco’s most direct rivals are the also iconic Jeep Wrangler and Toyota 4Runner. All three are highly capable off-road vehicles and have a dedicated following among off-road enthusiasts.
Although it doesn’t provide any additional off-road capabilities beyond the Bronco Outer Banks Sasquatch it is based on, the new Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary package features heritage-inspired design that will surely appeal to the brand’s loyal customers.
