Audi has devoted attention to the cars representing the top-half of their product line-up for 2012. All-new for 2012 is the redesigned 2012 Audi A6 and S6 sedan boasting a lighter yet stronger construction. Completely new to the Audi line-up for 2012 is the A7 Sportback. Released during the middle of 2011, the Audi A7 Sportback is billed as a five-door coupe. Introduced as an all-new model last year, the Audi A8 line is reinforced for 2012 with the arrival of a new A8 L, sport-tuned S8 and a version powered by a 500-horsepower W12 engine. A high-performance of the Audi TT previously reserved only for the European market comes stateside for 2012. Only offered as a hardtop coupe, the 2012 Audi TT RS is propelled by a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five engine that generates 360 horsepower. Paired with a six-speed manual transmission, the TT RS can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 4.1 seconds. High-end performance in the Audi range is furnished in 2012 with the limited edition R8 GT. The 2012 Audi R8 GT is propelled by a 560-horsepower engine.
