About TT RS

At the peak of the performance scale for the Audi TT sports car, the TT RS was introduced to North America for the 2012 model year. Presenting 95 horsepower more than the TTS model, the 2012 Audi TT RS was propelled by a 2.5-liter TFSI five-cylinder engine generating 360 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. Configured to bring peak performance to fingers of a driver, the Audi TT RS paired its 360-horsepower turbocharged engine with a close-ratio six-speed manual transmission and quattro all-wheel drive.

Capable of a top speed up to 174 miles per hour, the 2012 Audi TT RS sports car’s 0 to 60-mile per hour acceleration time is rated at 4.1 seconds. Only available with a coupe body style in North America, the 2012 Audi TT RS received some radically defining exterior details distinguishing it from the TT and TTS models. A reworked lower front end, redesigned rear air dam and a large race-like rear spoiler were included with the TT RS badging.

Inside, the Audi TT RS provides a flat-bottom steering wheel and 10-way power-adjustable front sport seats. After two years of availability in the United States, the Audi TT RS was discontinued after the 2013 model year with the pending arrival of a new generation TT sports car.
